About Ondula, the brighting Star of the night:

✵✵✵ Laura Odl (Laura A. Angeles) is a sound artist, radio producer, broadcaster, musician and  Dj based in Berlin since 2007. She has completed her studies in the Berlin University of Arts (UDK) master Sound Studies and Sonic Arts. Explorer of sound and music, collector of records and cassettes tapes she also collects pieces of reality recording sounds everywhere she goes.  As an artist she works with field recordings, analogue tape machines, cassette players and other obsolete media. For her the medium is as important as the sound itself, becoming another compositional element whose manipulation influences and is part of the arrangement. Her work with field recordings consists in transforming and modifying sounds, placing them in a different context. "By investigating language, voices and sounds on a meta-level she always attempt to achieve new and unexpected meanings". In 2014 she was part of the Deutsche Oper production "Sounds for a While", being part of the creative team and performed with 4 reel-to reel tape machines and other self -made instruments. In 2017 she has presented her piece "Obsolete Resonances" at Kesselhaus Berlin, a composition for tape machines, cassette players, typewriter and fax. 
As Dj she plays under the name of Ondula,  she have played in International festivals. Exploring deep into music she proposes an Immersion in obscure electronics, forgotten tapes, Avant-garde, composers, pioneerism, rock in opposition and sound collages. “Submerged into the rivers of experimental electronics, she will always start a dialogue with those who listen, who seek and with those who swim along”.

About:

Andy Morello is an electronic musician that specializes in original productions and remixes. He employs newer technologies along with traditional analog ones, with an aim at finding the link between improvisation and programming.

Initially his electronic productions and live performances were dub based until Andy found modular synthesis in 2017. From this he honed his approach to modular performance and defined his style of impromptu sound installation. He music is improvisational,  and unique to every performance.

His live is a journey through rarefaction, granulation, dub, techno and rigorously no-DAW, analogue experimentation is created live and obviously controlled by voltage.

In 2018 he created Milano Modulare by collecting numerous memberships from all over Italy, and gathering the attention and support of many artists, performers and  fans. By doing this he created a real community linked to modular synths. Andy continues and collaborating others organizing different events and concerts, such as  the first modular day in Milan in 2019.
