Our very own EVVA Beats @evvabeats is a Brazilian DJ and a strong representative of the LGBTQ community from the Northeast, who brought their flavor to São Paulo in 2010. Since then, they've performed at the most exciting parties across the country. Beyond the decks, EVVA Beats is part of the PROIBIDÆ crew and one of the curators & creatives at Concreta Sala. This mix combines classic and contemporary elements of Bass music while traveling within different styles of Electronic music.

Concreta Sala is a femme-led creative lab, record label, and shop based in Miami; they are the co-creators of the vinyl compilation series PROIBIDŒ and booty bass itinerant party PROIBIDÆ.

After a short hiatus, we're back with a new mix in the Seiva series, in which we highlight talent from Brazilian grounds. For this edition we welcome Thee J Doug from Joinville. He is a DJ and curator of @tontura-nu, a vibrant artist collective and mix series highlighting sounds you didn't know you wanted to hear!

In his mix, Doug walks through organic rhythms ranging from disco and house to trip-hop and jazz, while seeking to mix with unconventional styles, such as breaks, acid and bleep techno. Put it in the blender baby!

Para descrever o nosso próximo convidado da VeludoCast, pensamos nas palavras: "irreverente", "autêntico" e "ousado", mas ainda não era suficiente. Precisávamos de mais. Palavras soltas costumam dizer pouco e limitam-se a seus significados.

João Nogueira é uma das figuras-chave da cena eletrônica de Belo Horizonte. DJ residente e produtor da espetacular Masterplano, João sabe tocar "fogo no parquinho" de um jeito diferente. Sua pesquisa vai além do imaginável, desafiando as fronteiras de gêneros, com foco nas sensações que a música nos desperta. Suas apresentações são sempre repletas de surpresas deliciosas que nos levam a lugares mágicos e inesperados, proporcionando, aos que embarcam nessa viagem, um verdadeiro deleite musical.
