DJULIA, uma jovem de 23 anos, é uma DJ, jornalista e criadora de conteúdo que traz em suas experimentações musicais elementos da cultura afrodescendente e brasileira. Sua experiência como potencializadora cultural em regiões periféricas e colaboradora em veículos midiáticos a tornou reconhecida por nomes como Vogue U.K e Rede Globo, mostrando sua habilidade em unir informação e entretenimento para atrair jovens para a música e novos formatos de conteúdo.

Como mulher negra e LGBTQIA+, DJULIA traz uma singularidade marcante para suas performances, combinando artistas nigerianos, franceses e sul-africanos em mixagens envolventes que resgatam ancestralidade e visões de mundo. Desde 2017, ela tem conquistado um público fiel, principalmente entre jovens e adultos periféricos e negros, com suas misturas de grime, drill, garage, house, afrobeat e funk, ganhando destaque em veículos como London's NTS Radio, The Tim & Barry Show, Resident Advisor e Folha de S. Paulo.

Sua paixão pela música começou cedo, ouvindo discos de MPB, Hip Hop e Rock, e aprendendo diversos instrumentos musicais por conta própria. Atualmente, ela é community manager no Portal Gshow, produtora de conteúdo no "Rap, falando", e CEO e fundadora da "Brasa Magazine", uma revista digital que registra a história cultural e periférica do hip hop por meio da perspectiva de pretos. Sua jornada é marcada pela paixão pela cultura, musicalidade e informação.

Suburban Jungle Rave is the third EP produced by DJ and Producer Mtn9090, which will be released on August 15 2024 by Trinka BR from Porto Alegre/Brazil. In a context where the city is a map defined by labor relations, uncertainty becomes an evil addiction while the rave party the only moment of liberation from the capitalist clock. Through 06 tracks, the EP translates part of the artist's experience, uniting elements of urban daily life, the metropolitan spirit and broken drums of the classic jungle tracks of the 90s.
