Na Pista was born during a sweltering summer in Lisbon, as King Kami experimented with synths at a friend’s studio. What began as playful sessions evolved into a hard-hitting blend of aggressive Jersey club and breakbeat patterns, infused with nostalgic melodies from early 2000s funk brasileiro. The track also features energetic vocal samples from DJ Celly, adding a layer of club heat and Brazilian flair. The result is an electrifying, percussive anthem built for the dancefloor—where bass-heavy pressure, syncopated drums, and shimmering synth lines collide.

King Kami is a dynamic and forward-thinking DJ and producer, known for electrifying sets and genre-blurring productions. Her unique style weaves together funk brasileiro, breakbeat, electro, and volt mix, often incorporating elements of jungle and the nostalgic melodies of early 2000s Brazilian funk. Her music pulses with both raw energy and a playful, emotional edge, drawing inspiration from underground club scenes worldwide.

Stable systems might be characterized not necessarily by their constancy, but by their propensity to adjust to glitches. Errors in cybernetic systems create openings — breaches that unfold unpredictably, allowing creative agency to emerge from flaws in design. In these moments of rupture, patterns are reconfigured, and what was rigid becomes generative. Contemporary practices such as computer engineering or DJing operate within this logic: manipulating existing structures, filtering elements, and reassembling fragments into something new. In this sense, they are akin to ancestral practices of witchcraft — forms of knowledge that work with the materials at hand, invoking transformation and possibility. Both embrace the imperfect or the unstable, revealing how creation often arises not from order alone, but from impermanence itself. 
In this DJ set, Alírio works her knobs to produce an hour-long set ranging from percussion to techno. Her work spans different genres, while remaining true to her origins in the underground queer São Paulo techno scene.
