Spontaneous Combustion (2023) is the second official album of the DJs and Producers Mtn9090 and Marcelulose, wich will be released January 15th of 2023 independently on digital platforms and also by physical media. The term refers to a death from a fire that originates without an external source of ignition, a natural process that lacks explanation. Through 07 tracks, the album brings together genres such as footwork, juke, breakbeat, jungle and dubstep and elements of house and Detroit techno as well. On the visual part, the work refers to the mess caused by a run over reaction by two bodies as one lucky accident, sealing this encounter in an artistic object as part of a poetic process developed by Rafaela Giacomelli. Samples, arrangement and composition by DJ Mtn9090 and Marcelulose, Mixing by Tabu and Graphic design by Denu.

Peruvian producer Hanuna continues his amazing year of surprising collaborations with Nyege Nyege-affiliated artists on the upcoming Matraca release 'Balandean'. After the East African excursion earlier this year when he met up with Tanzania's Jay Mitta to explore the frenetic genre of singeli, this time Hanuna heads west on an equally intensive journey to Mali where the balani legend DJ Diaki comes from - together they created both intercontinental and intergenerational EP in which West Africa meets Peru.
