It was around 1997 while living in Southern California when the Colombian artist known as the FunDaBounce DJ took his first steps in the world of Hard Dance music. At that point he had developed a taste for melodic music with a hard edged attitude having been previously involved with Colombian metal band "Hypnocide" as the lead vocalist and guitarist. It took a few listens to those oh-so wonderfully distorted kick drums and enticing sounds of the hoover to know he was on to something. Since then he has dedicated his efforts to knowing the ins and outs of that awe inspiring/smile inducing sound known as Happy Hardcore. He has produced numerous mixes and productions in aims of contributing to the further spreading of the 4-beat style. 
Brightspeed Recordings, his own label, was started in 2005 and has since seen constant output showcasing the hard-dancing candy flavor he and so many have come to love.

Fue en 1997 mientras vivía en el sur de California cuando el artista Colombiano conocido como el DJ FunDaBounce dio sus primeros pasos en el mundo de la música Hard Dance. Por esos días se podría decir que FDB había desarrollado un gusto por música melódica y fuerte gracias a su participación en la banda de metal Colombiana "Hypnocide" como vocalista y guitarrista líder. Tan solo con escuchar esos "kicks" distorsionados y ese cautivante sonido del "Hoover" supo que habría que investigar más y desde entonces ha dedicado sus esfuerzos a explorar la esencia de ese inspirador y divertido sonido conocido como Happy Hardcore. Múltiples mezclas y producciones han sido creadas con el fin de difundir el sonido 4-beat y entre sus proyectos se puede destacar el lanzamiento de su sello: Brightspeed Recordings. Hogar para sus propias creaciones, las cuales ha venido publicando con dedicación desde el año 2005.
