I was never happy with the original version of this track. I added a lot of new instrumentation, especially on the percussion side, which makes it a lot closer to my original vision. Think it came out pretty well.

Invasion (2020 Remaster) - demo 2

This was the first time I used speech synthesis to emulate "vocals" or a sort, combining a vocoder and the chipspeech software synth. I used this technique later on the Frentik track from SGT_SLTR_MLN that people seem to dig so much (https://deadagent.bandcamp.com/track/frentik).

Mostly this is a proper remaster, without changing up the instrumentation much, but I did alter the arrangement slightly. I think it's a better track for it. Overall I think it's more interesting sonically than structurally, but still pretty cool.
