Funk & Wagnall: A Tribute to Simon & Garfunkel, was started by Casey Wickstrom during his sophomore year of high school. Fascinated with the work of Paul Simon since an early age, Wickstrom and a high school friend learned the harmonies and music of such standards as Sound of Silence, The Boxer, and 59th St Bridge Song, performing at school events. Nearly a decade later, Funk & Wagnall has emerged as a serious project, with over twenty songs in their repertoire. Featuring Casey Wickstrom on guitar and harmonies, Luke Reilly on vocals, and Henry Rust (occasionally) on bass, dobro and tenor guitar, this tribute is a one of a kind show - bringing the timeless music of Simon & Garfunkel to a new generation of listeners, and keeping the acoustic spirit of these songs alive. Updated arrangements of songs by Casey Wickstrom.
