Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg deliver something a little different with their next collaboration, ‘You Know’.  Unlike their recent Drumcode release, ‘You Know’ is a deep house killer that will appeal to new and old fans alike. Using a number of melodies within both the bass line and melodic synth that sits at the back of the mix, these two elements harmonise together smoothly and create an ear catching juxtaposition that will get the dance floor rocking before the vocal roars over the track.

It's a shame what happened to the enigmatic Francois Dubois, he was last spotted as a down-and-out in the Parisian backstreets of Montmartre, mumbling and cursing to himself...here is a rare recording of one his sets, a great swansong to one of the sorely missed "true" deep house pioneers of the noughties...

začal DJskou cestu ve francouzské Guyaně v roce 1982. V té době ho zajímala soulová hudba, funk, jazz, salsa a také reggae. V roce 1983 se přestěhoval do Paříže, kde začal pracovat v klubech Broadside a Limelight. Od roku 1989 začal žít v Lyonu, kde pracoval v klubu Le Factory, jedním z prvních míst pro houseové večírky. Velmi často také hrál na free parties. V roce 1992 se přestěhoval do Švýcarska, kde začal v Ženevě svou rezidentní noc v klubu Grillon. Zároveň hostoval i v dalších švýcarských městech – Zurich, Basilej, Neuchatel, Lausanne, Thun a Laax.

V roce 1995 začal pracovat pro švýcarské národní rádio Couleur 3, ve kterém produkoval pořad Metissage, program který se zaměřil na dění na elektronické scéně a vysílal se čtyřikrát v týdnu. Během sedmi let udělal okolo 400 rozhovorů se spoustou skvělých DJs a hudebních skupin. Samozřejmě nezůstal jen u práce v rádiu a vesele křižoval hlavní hudební evropské metropole.

Od začátku roku 2003 žije v Praze, kde vznikl ve spolupráci s DJ Tvyksem projekt AfroGinger, se kterým vydali remix Borise Carloffa u anglického labelu disTracktion Records. V současnosti je rezidentem pravidelné klubové noci Just Like That, na populárním houseboatu U Bukanýra, kde vystupuje s řadou zvučných jmen z celého světa.

The Barcelona based DJ and producer's influence across the tech house and techno scene over the last 20 years is indisputable. 

His melodic masterpiece "Diabla", released in 2001 became a huge global hit and DJ Mag's 'techno record of the year'. Played by house, progressive, techno even trance DJs, its release saw the Scot’s career soar to new heights! 

Other hits "Jack Me Off," "Bad Coffee”, "Emotional Content", remixes for Underworld, New Order, and Laurent Garnier, plus releases for Bedrock, Drumcode, and All Day I Dream, are just a mere snapshot of his discography. 

Seminal mix compilations for Balance Series, Soma's Sci-Fi Hi-Fi, and Cocoon followed, further cementing his place in dance music history. 

Still not content with conquering techno, Sandberg was mystery figure behind “Francois Dubois”, with releases such "Blood" and "I Try" named as a big influence for Darius Syrossian, plus many other leading tech house DJs of his generation.
