After years of productively drifting under the radar, FN now presents "Sounds of the Unheard from Romania" vol. 4, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Future Nuggets' flagship compilation release on vinyl. For this occasion we are happy to collaborate with @Fun In The Church, a label that is facilitating this moment to happen.

Untraceable gems, melodies and breaks for the restless future; electronica oddities, oriental kraut rock, alt.-pop manifestations, psychedelic soundtracks for imaginary films. Exposing, as always, only the tip of the iceberg, productions surfacing from Bucharest’s label entourage. Introducing new artists and projects to the outernational ears (Suce Fraga, Inana, Sarra, Xenofolk,), but also featuring FN house-hold names (Plevna, Australopitecus Oltensis).

Unfamiliar and seductive sounds reverberating from the south-east realm, tracks that challenge genres and synthesize geo-cultural dispositions. Many years and musical adventures have passed since the last volume was released, thus the FN council, acknowledging the local time dilation, has decided to hyper-jump to volume nr. 4.

Björn Torwellen’s ‘Binary Fate’ EP kickstarts CLR’s 2025 with three pounding Techno tracks 31st January 2025. From the razor-sharp percussion and raw bassline power in title track ‘Binary Fate’, to the cavernous dub hits and shadowy atmospheres of ‘Fear of the Unknown’, before closing on the mind-warping signals of ‘Lost in Transmission’ - Torwellen’s ‘Binary Fate’ is yet another supersized debut on the seminal CLR.

Following Björn Torwellen’s appearance on the CLR podcast in June 2024, the Cologne-based artist now definitively joins Chris Liebing’s label with the ‘Binary Fate’ three-tracker this January. With a career spanning over two decades, Björn is known for his discography on labels like De-Konstrukt, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, nonlinear systems, and now CLR.

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Flug, Bjarki, DJ Dextro and more while also focusing on developing newer acts in the scene such as Risa Taniguchi, The Southern, and Klint.

Hannah Wants drops a bumpy club banger on Toolroom entitled 'Call Me' that includes none other than the mighty Kevin Knapp on vocal duties. Hannah's meteoric rise to fame has been very well documented in recent years and she truly is one of the brightest shining stars on the scene. Her newly launched label 'Etiquette' continues to go from strength to strength and her gig diary is chocker-block which is testament to her hard work ethic and unrivalled skills behind the decks. As well as releasing on her own imprint, Hannah has also graced the digital record shelves of Sola and Brock Wild already in 2019 and there looks to be plenty more where that came from in the clip.

Hannah lays down an incredible groove on 'Call Me' which rumbles along from the off with tight, crisp percussion and a wobbly bass line that you can't help but move to. Kevin is right at home with this sort of track and does his thing over the top, adding some real character and hooks to the record. Club & radio will be loving this in equal measures and we at Toolroom are super proud to be hosting this latest outing from Hannah Wants & Kevin Knapp!
