Squad, we are so frickin back, and we actually have time to sit down and write this. We are in salt lake right now, covered in cane's dipping sauce, waiting to play a show tonight. Alexandre Doré is French-Canadian DJ/Producer Funken, a 90’s video game theme songs freak going places around the globe. Taking the world by storm with his personal productions, his blend of jazzy J-Pop music and Jersey Club sounds is swirling listeners into a neon vibes universe.

After years of experimenting with different sounds under his former artist name, Ahllex, he became a local opening act for headliners like Downlink, Designer Drugs, Clockwork (RL Grime), Dooze Jackers (Snails), Botnek, and many more. He has also featured at multiple festivals such as Woodstock en Beauce, îleSoniq, Valhalla Sound Circus, Skins Party, and many more, covering the US, Canada, and Indonesia with ease. Gaining attention and signing on labels like Dim Mak (Steve Aoki’s), Simma (Low Steppa’s) among many others, he has acquired enough background and maturity to start his new project, Funken, in late 2017.
