This piece was crafted as a sonic tribute to the introspective atmospheres of Depeche Mode and the melodic architecture of Tuxedomoon. Built around a foundation of dark synthesizers and immersive textures, the track unfolds like an emotional narrative suspended between analog nostalgia and digital precision.
Hi-hats are treated with ping pong delay and subtle modulated reverb, creating a sense of spatial movement and rhythmic fluidity that enhances the tension during the breakdown and drop. Melodic lines evolve slowly, weaving through minor scales and open harmonies, echoing the avant-garde spirit of early electronic pioneers.
The result is a track designed not just to be heard, but to be felt a dialogue between shadow and light, structure and spontaneity.

So ist er vom Acidrave-Sound des Nemesis Kollektivs, mit dem er vor drei Jahren gestartet ist, ebenso getrieben, wie von den herzerwärmenden Klängen des Global Sounds. Zusammen mit audiovsn und Mach Mal Langsam hat er das Cassiopeia Festival in Darmstadt initiiert, und war in Mainz, Wiesbaden und beim Kabinett der Kuriositäten in Frankfurt zu Gast. Inspiration für seine Sets findet er vor allem auf Reisen. Nur eins darf nicht fehlen: ganz viel Glitzer.

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. This is the first, and probably not the last, of the Fairy Of The Lake of many colours. First there was the Blue Fairy, then, people, you asked for more, and we made up the Red Fairy, and, when you wanted more still, the White Fairy was put together. The tracks in the compilation are borrowed from many countries, some are British, some German, some Greek, some Spanish, some French, some Brasilian, one Italian. However much these nations differ about trifles, they all agree in liking fairy tales. The reason, no doubt, is that men were much like children in their minds long ago, long, long ago, and so before they took to writing newspapers, and sermons, and novels, and long poems, they told each other stories, such as you read in the fairy books. They believed that witches could turn people into beasts, that beasts could speak, that magic rings could make their owners invisible, and all the other wonders in the stories. Then, as the world became grown-up, the fairy tales which were not written down would have been quite forgotten but that the old grannies remembered them, and told them to the little grandchildren: and when they, in their turn, became grannies, they remembered them, and told them also. So the new SHANGO RECORDS compilation is entitled “Fairy Of The Lake” and includes eighteen amazing tracks for your personal book of tales.  Songs about love, hate, broken dreams, suffocation and holding hands. For the dreamers, the shakers, the moochers and the makers; we are all born of civilised madness, so let's go with the flow!

The Borderland, a festival between dreams and reality in so many ways is our Nordic regional Burning Man event each summer. 
This is my closing sunrise set played on Saturday morning from 5 - 11 AM. I have had an emotional week where joy and sadness had been mixed with very little sleep so on this morning I tried to express my love through music and the love I received from the dance floor were magical! 
Thanks to everyone who danced with me and who where Silly in our Sanctuary during the week! 

Me and 11 wonderful friends build a space we call Silly Sanctuary. We had an awesome sound system and great DJ played music between 5-11 both AM and PM each day. In the day time we had workshops and at night we offered people to a chill out where they could play with interactive light installations.

PROFILE
It took a long time until sound and noise evolved to a real passion for me, beginning with a computer-science study to learn about the techniques of modern communication. Later the way of education moved directly to music and communication science. This helped among other things to understand melody and sound designs practically, to compose and to interpret the art in a different way, like his own tracks too.

2004 // The musical collaboration with Retronic Sounds (Max Behn,Olaf Schäfer,Michael Wilkens) began. This project greatly advanced the development of everybody involved in terms of a live music act.

April 2005 // Fashion Playground was a concept initiated by Maria Fuchs and funkenstrøm (Thomas Oesterreich). It utilised a new and interesting sound produced from sewing-machines. The sound of the sewing machines was alienated and recorded via a notepad to make it danceable. You can hear more of it on the first demo-album of symbiont-music.

February 2006 // first night of “Gentheater” at the campus of TU Berlin: a dramatic composition. Production and Sound Design by funkenstrøm/ Visualisations by Nils Linscheidt & Björn Schäfer

September 2006 : Founding of symbiont-music together with Mathias Wilkens (tonmodul), Michael  Wilkens (mica), Olaf Schäfer (audacious clay), Max Behn

August 2009 // For the opening of the concert houseat Gendarmenmarkt Berlin, funkenstrøm & Paul Chriske prepared a live performance with remixes of classical music combined with cornerstones of electronic Pop music, like Kraftwerk, to accentuate the close alliance between all the musical styles.

Due to playing as liveact only, he produced and developed his sound in very different styles. Also he perfected his performance not to bore, but to heat up and to excite the crowd. It’s a mix between burning techno, experimental sounds, housy synthlines and a real passion for melody. This creates a very electronic style with elements of acoustic phrases. With the combination of his performance as liveact the club oriented sound works on the dancefloor.

2011 // He began the live act Peter & Pan together with Max Schumann of the artist duo Geschwister Schumann. The liveact with passion for deep and warm breezes, with hypnotic passion for producing live and feelings...

2012 // Funkenstrøm and Alex Kiefer from code2records started the DJ-Team Ringel & Pietz. They’ve got known to each other due to the berlin nightlife, and their passion for Pop and Techhouse is expressed in looping Techno combined with melody for millions.

2013 // Debut of Peter & Pan - Wolkenkuckucksheim EP, incl. Remixes by Samuel Fach, Gitte Verfuehrt and Jonas Saalbach, released on symbiont-music play
