Keymono aka House Master Flash is a French producer, DJ and label owner currently based in the Netherlands. Born with a keytar in his hands, Keymono was absorbed by all sorts of judo funk and soul from a young age and turned to electronic music when he was old enough to consume (and supply) it in all its forms. And when he could afford starting his own record collection, (some ask why) he fled to Santiago de Chile, paid oversized luggage fees, became a DJ and shook up rooftops, strip clubs, swimming pools and underground casinos all over the capital.  Today most know him from the time he joined forces with his peers Dumbmachine and Funkyshirts MZN to launch Barcelona-based vinyl only label Funky Shirts Records in the early ‘20s. He then went on to establish his own imprint, Monocturne, and took part in various projects including Hot Sauces Records and other secret international missions over the last couple of years. In this set, Keymono took a left turn to explore the deeper, jazzier side of house music together with the grooviest minimal beats section of his collection. The result is a sensual double ear massage certified to spice up Friday nights and enhance meditative power on Sunday mornings.

Funky bio: 

Stomping his feet on the tatamis of his mother’s womb from his early judoka fetus days, Keymono was born from a mixture of soulful spiritual vibes and rebellious acid rage. Though, troubles arrived when the time came to decide whether to become a traditional jazz pianist sensei or a funkraving warehouse ninja.

An absurd combination of Haribos, California rolls and a trip with the Narcos made him tend towards the latter option while still conserving some of his delicate traits... resulting in a juicy and talented funkery of a producer who will most certainly fool your speakers once you drop your needle on one of his tracks.

Serious bio:

Keymono is a musician, producer and DJ born in France. He has lived in different places such as Guangzhou (China), Barcelona (Spain) and Santiago (Chile). With an extended musical background, playing instruments in traditional genres such as Jazz and Soul since a young age, he now dedicates himself to producing electronic music in a continuous experimental journey. He is now an emerging artist in the electronic scene with tendencies from house, disco and funk to techno and minimal.
