Love this first track cant find your funkgland one!

I was thinking about the first time I was given the opportunity to play records. It was at the photo of the building i've chosen for this mix.....

Two very upfront and influential twats decided to take a new style of music to a nightclub that personified the sort of club that ended the evening with the erection section in Salisbury

Armed with a strategy of turning the lights off and a torch gleaming from behind the booth for drops like "when evil lurks" these twats created something that confused, excited and liberated a venue, staff and crowd.............

Those two twats gave me numerous opportunities over the coming years to warm up at the events they put on over the south coast and I shall always hold the ultimate respect and gratitude that they tried so hard to make me a warm up DJ. 

I'll also hold dear the look on their faces when they accepted i was a shit warm up DJ and started putting me on last!

Those two twats are two of my long standing close friends who bought acid house into my life and tolerated the younger twat. 

This mix is dedicated to Andy (Topic) and Anthony (Ripe). The original Funkjunkie Pioneers. I can finally warm up for you xx
