Trouble - Jose James (J Boogie)

Amerigo Gazaway, the man behind the A Tribe Called Quest and The Pharycde mash-up album, as well as the De La Soul and Fela Kuti one, is back combining Brooklyn rapper Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) and the legendary Marvin Gaye for a new series titled Soul Mates. 

Yasiin Gaye: The Departure has a very soulful vibe as the producer crafted his own arrangements using samples from Marvin Gaye’s music, building a foundation for Yasiin Bey’s rhymes and Marvin Gaye’s voice.
