Hello everyone! I’d like to share with you my version of David Bowie's "Space Oddity," aiming for a more spatial, atmospheric, and personal approach through the use of textures, synthesizers, and reversed guitars. While vocally I follow the original version’s line, my intention was to reinterpret it sonically, giving it a more ethereal and cinematic dimension.

Bowie has always been one of my main influences, and this version marks the beginning of a conceptual trilogy that continues with my compositions “Goodbye Spaceboy” and “Into the Void.” Together, these pieces form my personal vision of the journey and fate of Major Tom, the legendary character created by Bowie.

I know that vocals aren’t my strongest suit, as my main focus is on composition and production, but I strive to keep them authentic and honest, without using plugins like Melodyne or Autotune. I firmly believe that imperfections are also part of music and art, adding humanity, spontaneity, and a unique signature.

Americana revitalized. Written from the perspective of a regretful partner, who, because of his lack of commitment, loses the love of his life. It's a sad ditty folk/alternative song with melodic vibes and awesome harmonica solo. I believe pushing the envelope leads to innovative creativity adding some uniqueness to this sometimes cookie cutter industry. Listening closely to the lyrics, they suggest I have a unique style emerging that will prove more and more significant with each new release.

Introducing Bohm. A truly exciting duo whose musical output is starting to take the world by storm. An eclectic act whose style is distinctive, powerful and individual, debuts on UGENIUS with this 4 track EP titled Digital Awakening. Opening up new horizons, the guys are synonymous with long sets and have a wide variety of music in their repertoire. They grew up listening to Hard House and 90 trance, which then transitioned into Melodic, Afro and Indie, and echo’s some of those unique sounds and interesting riffs that they grew up on.

The EP consisting of three 4x4 tracks in “Digital Awakening, Only Choice and The Edition” are dance floor stomper that consistently turn the dance floor on its head. Rounding out the release is “Response” which is a unique breakbeat record and stands on its own. All In all, we are very happy to have Bohm and know that this won’t be their first outing on UGENIUS.
