Protocol label head and iconic artist Nicky Romero just released his highly anticipated "Redefine" EP, featuring two brand new tracks as well as January's single "I See." He delivers high-energy gems "Time" and "Replica" to complete the holy trinity of club-ready records that comprise the EP, following a sonic path that both takes him back to his roots and propels him further into the realm of modern dance music. Running on an intense progressive buildup and a big, bouncy drop with percussive synths, "Time" keeps the energy high that "I See" established as the opening track. The EP finishes strong with "Replica," which conjures images of gyrating crowds in packed clubs, sending a message to the world that Nicky Romero is not even close to relinquishing his hold on electronic music. The "Redefine" EP is just one facet of the "Redefine" concept, which also includes a world tour, 3-part documentary series, themed website, and merchandise line.
