House Sessions #149 - June 2025 Podcast

The Black Light Disco Show is back surfing the MyHouse Radio airwaves with another two hour musical jamboree to soothe your ears and massage your shoulders.

This week it’s the return of that deadly duo of Esteban and Cole Kutz, who had the honour of doing the show live from the DJ booth in the recently refurbished SkyLight Bar here in BLD Towers. 

First up is Esteban with a picnic basket full of new sonic goodies from the likes of Cisco Cisco, Alexny, Moodena, Fingerman & Chewy Rubs, Stephen Richards and Risk Assessment.

For the second hour, Cole Kutz will take the controls for a journey into sound with top quality music featuring Dexter Jones, The Magic Track, Igor Gonya, Yuksek, Sunner Soul and Raw Artes to name but a few! 

All the trademark curve balls, rabbit holes, event horizons and mystery tours will be explored with a totally tropical taste.

Afrosoul Vibes #13

The Black Light Disco Show enters the orbit of planet myhouseradio.fm once again with another two hour Monday sulk-buster to set you up nicely for the week ahead!

Its the start of a new month, and as we head into the autumnal haze the Pookie Knights lads are setting up in the Stevie Wonder Bistro here in BLD Towers, ready for a summer farewell set as they head off to Ibiza to play at the closing parties. 

For the first hour, we’re treated to a very special all vinyl set from the lads, featuring killer grooves from Phonk D, Mattei & Omich feat. Ella, Just Jam, D. Marco and Topaz to name but a few. After a long hiatus, dsev music is back with a sweet 2 track EP featuring the lovely vocals of Darlene DeVore. Luscious vocals, a catchy melody and high energy beats in both tracks for a solid funky jackin House sound. Both tracks deftly strike a fine balance between nu classic and contemporary jackin house. The original version includes a pulsating beat, while chord riffs and a understated melodic keys provide a high energy yet subtle movement throughout the track. The G-Mix provides a re-interpretation of the vocals gently weaving a catchy hook with groovy guitar riffs and a melodic bass line all come nicely together with just a touch of disco to put a fine polish on the track.
