Funkshuay was born in 1989. Most influenced by artists such as Eminem, Lil Wayne, and Drake, Funk began rapping in 2009. Always surrounded by music and artists alike, he discovered a fulfilling passion for rhyming and song writing. "I was addicted to my first verse", says the Las Vegas rapper. Other influences included artists such as Andre 3000, Aaliyah and Missy Elliot. Collaborated and performed with Vegas bred artists such as Cash Colligan, APH, Top Angel, Chuck Brilliant, Richie Bux, Danny Myers, Aidan Salazar, MVTIC, Keshia Ricamona, and  Lucid Trips. 
The young creative is looking to make his return to the charts early in the Spring of 2023.
