Crafted by three experts in their field, ‘I AM’ is set to be a future anthem with its unforgettable melody. On remix duties, some of the most exciting figures of electronic music from both sides of the Atlantic have delivered their own version of ‘I AM,’ soon to be unveiled: Los Angeles native Deorro, one of the top young upcoming producers/DJs in the music industry today, and 22-year-old UK prodigy Jacob Plant, former BBC Introducing alumni. UK Drum and bass aficionado Nu:Tone provides the final remix.

With a history of discovering new talent, Axwell has uncovered yet another gem in California's Taylr Renee who is both the vocalist and lyricist on 'I AM'. Dutch DJ/Producer duo Sick Individuals have recently turned heads with their formidable production skills and brilliant remix of David Guetta and Rihanna's hit 'Right Now.’

Having headlined the first ever Sunburn Festival in Goa when it began back in 2007, Axwell will be making a much-anticipated return this year on December 29th to headline the 35,000 event. Axwell last visited India earlier this year as one third of Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour. To finish off the year in style, he’ll then go to Dubai to headline Sandance at the Atlantis Hotel on December 31st.

Jazzy electric piano chords and warm funk-infused synth pads create an inviting harmonic bed, while a deep house–inspired kick and crisp snare lock into a steady, confident pulse.

On the chorus, dub-style harmony violin floats above the rhythm, adding lift and soul, as Afro-pop and Arabic instrumental colors subtly dance through the arrangement. Déepalma Records digs into its own vaults this September, bringing back a true deep house gem: Mika Olson’s ‘What I Need’ ft. Jermaine Fleur, re-released on September 5th, 2025 as an exclusive addition to the label’s rich catalog.

Originally landing in 2016, What I Need embodies the atmospheric depth and hypnotic pull that defined Déepalma’s early sound. With Jermaine Fleur’s inimitable vocal weaving through fat, rolling basslines and layers of immersive production, the track captures an irresistible balance between underground energy and emotional resonance. Nearly a decade later, its timelessness feels sharper than ever — a standout in its own flair and atmosphere, primed once again for late-night sets and deep listening sessions.

For Olson, this marks another highlight in a long-standing journey with Déepalma. A key artist within the family, he’s delivered countless originals and remixes over the years, from Tomorrow and Drift Away to his celebrated rework of Rosario Galati & Yves Murasca’s Carry On.
