Label honcho Claudio Ricci teams up with his friend and studio partner Tsodor to bring you an energetic 2-track EP!

This past summer, Claudio and Tsodor began working together in the studio to see if the collaboration would enhance their musical and creative output. The experiment resulted in this 2-track EP, which showcases their musical diversity.

The first track of the EP, “Don’t You Know”, is a highly adaptable piece. 
With breakbeat-inspired rhythms, percussive elements, a bassline that hits you square in the face, 
a lead synth that sticks in your head, and a vocal sample instantly recognizable to late ‘80s music lovers, this track is a true standout.

“Face To Face” takes a completely different direction. 
This is a track to experience from start to finish, offering a deep, hypnotic groove layered with a constantly evolving pad. The chords serve as the hook and complete the journey, making it the perfect track to create magical moments in the early morning hours.

We’re wrapping up the year with this release and are excited to announce that Claudio Ricci and Tsodor have plenty more music in store for Raft in the near future!

Martijn we’re sure needs no introduction, a prolific producer/DJ responsible for many killer dance-floor productions. Only 3 DJ’s have been in possession of this new mix, kindly cleared for release on Phonetic by those wonderful people at Defected.

FUNKY JUDGE aka Gianluca Durante & Maurizio Sacchi duo di dj produttori dal 1999  molto attivo nel mondo delle dancefloor

Il primo nasce a Brescia il 15/03/71, e sin dalla giovane età sviluppa una attitudine particolare per la tecnologia ma soprattutto per la musica, questo grazie al padre ex Dj negli anni 80, nonché progettista e realizzatore di impianti Hi-Fi e in un futuro proprietario di Discoteche. 
Da lui eredita un bagaglio musicale notevole, crescendo con il Rare-Groove nel sangue e l’arte del missaggio, avvicinandosi cosi per la prima volta al mondo dei locali da ballo. 
A 17 anni conquista la sua prima consolle e da li in breve comincia a formare quello che diventerà poi il suo stile musicale, facendosi cosi conoscere ed apprezzare nei migliori Club’s del Veneto e non solo. 
Affascinato dalla ricerca di sonorità sempre nuove, sente il bisogno di creare la sua musica, cosi nel 97 collabora con un piccolo studio di registrazione nel padovano, venendo a contatto cosi con i primi strumenti musicali restandone letteralmente affascinato. 
Ben presto capisce che la massima espressione per lui è realizzare il suo sound dal vivo, non bisogna quindi stupirsi se nei suoi Dj set lo si vede sempre in compagnia di qualche Groove-Machine, con la quale manipola suoni e crea sample nuovi ed unici. 
Due anni dopo avviene l’incontro con Maurizio Sacchi, con il quale comincia una collaborazione duratura legata da una grande passione per la musica più ricercata  e dalle sonorità raffinate. Nasce cosi il primo di molti progetti con lo pseudonimo di “KEY DE ES” progetto che ha dato alla luce molte tracce Latin House di notevole riscontro in tutto il mondo, come "Agua do mar" "Todo pra ta esaldar" “Este amor”, il progetto “JEANCLAUDEMAURICE” miscuglio di sensazioni e sonorità dal sapore arabeggiante, con il quale producono un album"Divine Signs" e vari fortunati estratti tra cui "Red Mecca" e "My Maya" suonato da dj Ravin, i "DBS CONNECTION" Rare Groove seventies, i "FUNKY JUDGE" potenza del funk, DEMON LOVERS" cover  del famoso pezzo di Lenny Krawiz, e i "THE DEAFNES" electro allo stato puro. Collaborazioni con i "TEMPO REI", realizzano un stratosferico rmx per INAYA DAY con "U spin Me", si cimentano nel Jazz con il progetto “ JAZZ JUICE” "Fever",  poi ancora i bellissimi "Bahia" dal sapore Latin-House e "Esa morena", il fortissimo "The race" incluso in molte classifiche,il superbo "Breack out" cover dei Sing out sister fatto in collaborazione con i NossaAlmaCanta,per continuare con il fortunatissimo "Hang on to your love" cover di Sade rimasto per tre mesi hai nertici delle chart,l energia dance di Sacchi & Durante con  "You spin me around" passatissimo dai network radiofonici,il RMX di "1977"di Ana Tijoux brano stra suonato da tutti ....imminente la  preparazione del nuovo album dei FUNKY JUDGE preceduto dall uscita di alcuni singoli molto interessanti. .......a seguire molti molti altri progetti ......l ‘elenco sarebbe troppo lungo..... Ad oggi Gianluca Durante lo troviamo in molti Club D’Italia dove nei suoi Dj set si può ascoltare della buona Teck- House- dalla spinta prorompente contaminata da Rare-Groove e sonorità Electro  dandogli una impronta unica arricchita da una tecnica sempre più ricercata, che gli permettono di esprimere al massimo la sua energia ed eleganza musicale.
