FOUK (@justsayfouk) is our new guest. Fouk is the project of Dutch producers Daniël Leseman & Hans Peeman (Junktion) For Daniel Leseman & Junktion (Hans Peeman), successful producers on their own merits and friends since childhood, a collaboration was inevitable. Their house sound infused with disco and a lot of funk has been proven to be very infectious.

After the infamous Dam Swindle signed them to their Heist imprint and released the booming Kill Frenzy EP their name was established firmly to a broad and quickly growing audience. The result was requests for DJ sets across Europe, the America’s & Australia with personal highlights including Glastonbury, LoveBox, Concrete Paris, Output New York, Club Space Miami, Claire and De Marktkantine in Amsterdam.

Their first vinyl release as Fouk, on their own Outplay Records was met with great enthusiasm, the brilliant reactions to ‘Stuff Your Dad Liked’ and ‘Cat Lady’ propelled Fouk and Outplay firmly into the scene as the ‘one to watch’. Since then they’ve released EP’s on Room With A View, The House of Disco and Razor-n-Tape and made a string of strong remixes for the likes of Kraak & Smaak, Smoove & Turrell, Groove Armada, The Brand New Heavies, Luke Million, Joey Negro and Mayer Hawthorne.

After releasing ‘Release The Kraken EP’ featuring Thumpasaurus on The House of Disco, ‘Truffles EP’ on Heist Recordings in 2019 and two EP’s on their own Outplay offshoot ’24 Carrot’ they return again on Heist in 2021 with ‘Blue Steel EP’. Continuing to build on the sound they have evolved throughout the years with a new impulse of creativity.

His personal touch is to achieve the best possible mix with long transitions.

In recent years, he has concentrated on such styles as Jazz House, Funk and Nu-Disco. He thinks that the fusion of jazz and house opens up new avenues for the development of electronic music. Jazz and House have common roots and are better suited to each other than anything else. The vibes of this music make people happy in the present reality regardless of age and culture. As a producer, Alexey releases Jazzy Deep House  music under the name Indiecat.

Glenn has over 25 years DJing experience that has seen him play many clubs and festivals over the years including UK festivals Southport Weekender and Liverpool Disco Festival. 
A passionate vinyl collector since the mid nineties he’s passion for finding and playing good music never stops.

As part of Dublins Groovement Soul collective he was involved in running successful club nights in Dublin since 2003 bringing Dj’s Kev Beadle , Phil Asher , Lay Far , Recloose , Bob Jones , Mad Matt’s , Thatmanmonkz and many more to Ireland

In 2012 Glenn began he’s journey into music production which has seen him work with U.K. House music legend Ashley Beedle (Africanz On Marz) on four releases. 

Glenn’s Body & Soul Ep , Namida Ep and Special Ep all on (F*CLR Records) have gained support from Dj’s of the caliber of  Laurant Garnier, DJ Moxie, Joey Negro, Dj Cosmo , Dj Nature and many more with Francois K playing Namida (Africanz on Marz remix) on his World Wide FM show. 

Glenn’s latest releases “A Place For You EP” (Deeper Groove 003) and “Better Daze Ep ”on respected Cologne label Yore Records have been receiving great feedback and support from DJ’s Jimpster , Lars Behenroth  , Fish Go Deep, T Hill Detroit Radio, Luke Solomon , Vince Watson, Mr V ,  Mark Grusane , Jon Cutler, Giles Smith , Colin Dale and many more.

Glenn has also recently released on prestigious label Local Talk Records 13 years later compilation and finished remixes for Dj Craig Smith & Dj Gratts , the later on Brighton’s acclaimed Wolf Music.
