This year's Shambhala Music Festival marks the 10th year Fort Knox Five has played and the first time we have released a set from one of our favorite places on the planet. It was a bittersweet milestone as the set is dedicated to the memory of our dear friend and musical partner Jon Horvath aka DJ Jon H of FK5. We've never felt such an amazing energy in the Fractal and we want to thank the thousands of friends, fans and party-goers that showed up in full force wearing afros, dancing and pumping good vibes for our brother. It was an amazing thing to feel the Shambhalove and we can't thank you enough for such an inspiring experience! This mix introduces Fort Knox Five ft. Qdup's Four Deck set,  which incorporates live mashed up acapellas, fx, original tunes, exclusive mixes and some of our favorite dance floor destroyers.

We normally wouldn't do things like this but too many people have asked for a download. We're turning a blind eye to our own judgement on cheesy-mashups. So here is one of the bootlegs we made for the 90s mix. We've pulled it out of the project for your enjoyment.

This encapsulates 1999 for us. Cassius - Feeling For You was one of the first records we ever bought. The fact that it had a Les Rythmes Digitales Remix makes it even better. We weren't to know at 12 years old that this song would still be just as playable 14 years later,  and how much of an impact both Cassius and Stuart Price would have on our music tastes while learning to DJ. And what more needs to be said about Outkast? One of the greatest hip-hop acts to ever exist. They were the soundtrack to every house party since the beginning of high school. Big Boi and Andre 3000 in the same studio. How could that go wrong?
