Berlin ­based producer and DJ Ferri Borbás has been consistently on the rise since kick­starting his career in 2011 under the moniker SUPERLOVER. He has since established a solid reputation for creating emotional and energetic tunes translating disco and funk into modern house music. His early productions mirrored the influences of the raw and industrial techno sound of Berlin. Superlover’s present sonic trademark is deeply embedded in house music and its sub­genres, influenced by the likes of DJ Sneak, Ian Pooley, and later Daft Punk and their associated artists like Alan Braxe, Cassius, Fred Falke, and Etienne de Crecy. His productions and remixes have been picked by top labels such as Exploited Records, i! Records, Stanjjur, and No Brainer Records. As part of the Mother Recordings family, he created the much­acclaimed “Steam” in 2014. The momentum was sustained by his driving rework of “Stronger” by German house music legend Boris Dlugosch. At the start of 2015, Superlover’s track “Love Me” ruled many house dancefloors globally, and its success was a precursor of what would come later that year. His summer 2015 anthem “Love Machine” jumped straight to the top of the Beatport deep house charts, sustaining its ranking for over a month and reaching the top 3 overall for many weeks. This track was constantly parking in the Deep House top10 for more than 10 weeks and is after 3 months still in the Top15! His follow up the “Circus EP” on renowned label Suara seams to develop in the same direction. Both tracks kickstarted after only 1 week already in the Top15 of their genre charts. “Circus” on #12 in Deep House and “Restless” reached #15 in Tech House. With a steady stream of releases on the way to close out 2015, Superlover has original tracks coming out on Mother Recordings, as well as remixes including for house music legend Roland Clark and Kittball’s global players Tube & Berger. Meanwhile, he continues to get the dancefloors grooving with his infectious pumping energy, driving the signature Superlover sound into the hearts of house lovers worldwide with catching DJ-sets!
