didnt think the dg would really go that far and kick me out for no shoes. my shoes were soaked and i had to let my feet breathe a little. i was there first.

This one’s for anyone who’s ever been told they’re a “guest” and has to wipe their take off their shoes and put down plastic where they sit. not to disturb the careful curation. very funny. you spend enough time in a place where every thing is filtered through one, every beat placed on a velvet tray, and eventually the only thing you hear is the soft shuffle of retreating footsteps. some call it a rant.

But the guesthouse is still standing. The vacation home is nice and tidy. The spreadsheets are up to date. And I suppose that’s what really counts.
