“Clifton & W117” is an instrumental concept album about life in one little corner of Cleveland, OH before the RNC came to town. Before everyone in 11719 got kicked out in the name of progress. 

It’s about junkies breaking into the laundry room for quarters and rats infesting the walls. It’s the soundtrack to house centipedes slipping through the cracks in the ceiling and mushrooms fruiting through the rotten wood in the bathroom. It’s about hobnobbing with art kids, queers, yuppies and scum on hot August nights inside of rooms full of loud music, sweat and body smells. It's about growing up, growing old and the despair of wondering if these are the best or worst years of your life.

This songs on this album were recorded in 2014 at 11719 Clifton Blvd Apt 4 and left to ferment for 9 years on an external hard drive. It is dedicated to the memory of the Fifth Church of Christ, Scientist which stood at the corner of Lake and W117th from 1927 until 2016.
