Continuing on with what has quickly become a fan favourite series, Future Fire is back with its fifth edition, this time featuring Rob Gasser, REESE x TINY Vocals, Sola x Genesis Elijah x Eidna, Lateral, and Casper Levy.

New to Viper but with an impressive career to date, Rob Gasser delivers his signature hyper-pop fusion sounds to a classic drum & bass beat for one seriously unforgettable tune. With years of experience across all genres of bass music, Rob Gasser has already proven to be a force to be reckoned with, and it is an honour to welcome him to the Viper family with the frenzied and impressive “SMILE4ME”.

Up next is “Like That” from fellow newcomers REESE and TINY Vocals. Captivating hip hop vocals set the scene immediately, backed by a bouncing beat that is sure to set dancefloors ablaze. Sultry and catchy, this is a mighty introduction from these two.

Sola, Genesis Elijah, and Eidna team up for the third track on the EP with “Blow Your Mind”, the latter having made her Viper debut previously with Synth System & AL/SO’s “City Lights”. This gorgeous piano led tune is nothing short of stunning; exuding elegance and luxury with every note for an absolutely classic sound – this one is for the heads.

Returning to the label is Lateral after “Run the Town” made waves on Volume 3. “Make Me Weak” is a romantic number, full of charm and grace with a euphoric dancefloor drop – classic Viper sounds.

Last but not least is another familiar face – Casper Levy returns following “Leave This Town” on Annual 2024 with “Danger”. An ambient tune packing a huge punch and bringing plenty of nostalgic vibes, Casper Levy masterfully rounds up another massive edition of Future Fire. Stay tuned for more from this series in 2025!

Hailing from the Czech Republic, Furious Freaks is a Prague based Drum & Bass project that started its journey in 2012. Since then, its members Bonduel, Hayppa, Avenues and Just Flyp have been making their mark on the scene by steady releases on BNCexpress, Space Pirate Recordings, Empire Recordings, Sinful Maze, Trust Audio and others. You’ll often find them on the club and festival circuit, including performances at the legendary Let It Roll festival.
 
In 2014, they joined the Bass Drop project with whom they organised regular events in one of the most famous clubs in Prague. Soon after they released their first EP ever Born In Acid as a self-release. Their first label releases came in autumn 2016 on BNCexpress. With the intention to unite the Czech & Slovak music scene, they released the Freaks & Friends LP in summer 2018 which was later remixed by other Czech and Slovak producers such as A-Cray or Ripple. Later on, they added another release ‘Knife’ on Modular Carnage Recordings.
 
In 2019, Furious Freaks released their first music video ‘Na Stage’ together with Magenta and MC Brejchus which intelligently blended rap and drum & bass. The next releases included collaborations with Ripple for tracks such as ‘Space Moth’ (Space Pirate Recordings), followed by tunes ‘Time’ and ‘Spirit’ as part of the Bassline Resurrect EP. They also contributed to the rising Czech label Sinful Maze with their tunes ‘Tremble’ and ‘Goblin’. Developing their sound further, they explore new techniques and ways to collaborate with fellow artists, notably with various vocalists whom they consider to be an inherent part of Drum & Bass. This is the rationale behind the collaborations ‘Blind Lines’ ft. MC Shot (BNCexpress), ‘Systems’ ft. Lifesize MC (Empire Recordings) or ‘Own Way’ ft. Anna Vaverka (Hoofbeats Music). The year 2022 marked their premiere on the UK labels with their tune ‘Tribe’ on Trust Audio. You can find upcoming releases on Nemesis Recordings and Lockdown Recordings.
 
They strive to provide their audience with dynamic and original tunes without a rigid categorization into subgenres. They ignore established standards and combine various elements to bring an original touch to their music. The common denominator of Furious Freaks’ tunes is simply Drum & Bass!
