Strange Poem

A mellow yacht porn-pop tune is the background to a sleazy pulp tale set in Miami, 1985. 
The story goes like this:

Furious George is the psych/blues/rock/folk/whatever solo project by Giorgio of Haemophagus, Undead Creep, Sergeant Hamster etc. 
"Astra" is a suite-like song or, if you wish, a showcase for subtly intertwined ideas. 
Airy parts clashing into obbligato, jazz-oid progressions; tone being eviscerated, stereo-shifted, dilated, caressed or melted; centres of musical gravity being constantly blown away by mood changes and new layers. Zap! And it's gone. It can be seen as an attempt to explain one of the possible definitions of "transience".
The two-verse lyrics are nothing more than a simple reflection about Śūnyatā, "voidness" (from the sanskrit adjective "śūnya", meaning "nothing"), which is, among many things, one of the most important notions for those who seek liberation from the cycle of uncontrollably recurring birth. A fundamental guideline in the way of Dharma.

Do you remember people like Otis Rush, John Mayall or Elmore James? This slow blues follows the steps of these masters. But, first and foremost, it is all about enjoyin' the love of your woman.

I wanted to jam with some retro sounds so i just threw in some little harp, some little Hammond C3-ish sounds, a little brushy drumkit and a dusty, old-school guitar sound. And what about the bass? Sure, It's always there. Right in the back of your bluesy ears.

I have been playing, recording and working in a wide array of music productions for the past 15 + years, performing live and releasing records with many bands.

I also do advertisement and documentary music (works include Hippie Sicily by Salvo Cuccia, 2014; Furio Jesi – Man from Utopia by Carlo Trombino and Claudia Martino, 2017; La Spartenza by Salvo Cuccia, 2018 and others), have done mix/mastering works under the Big Rock moniker (Ekpyrosis, Ortro, Wartime) and I have done guests with bands/artists such as Airfish, Mezz Gacano, Homunculus Res, Bedsore, Dryleaf, Shock Troopers, Daemonokrat and so forth.
