Oliver fell in love with House music in 1998, from New York to Chicago he discovered a bunch of producers like DJ Pierre, David Morales, Kerri Chandler, who, today are the leading figures of this music genre.
He started playing in small clubs in the early 2000s and later move to Paris where he spent a good part of his free time going out in clubs such as the Rex Club, Batofar, Studio 287 where he discovered the Parisian scene.
Oliver released his first EP in 2008 on a German label called Rocks Playgrounds.
Since then, his love for house has remained intact, he also likes to find some rare Disco joints, doing Disco edits, a genre he also particularly likes because of its energy and its musicality.

It's been a long time between drinks for Oliver Dexx. According to our records, this Slightly Transformed label debut marks the producer's first solo outing in almost 18 months. It's well worth picking up, if only for the down-low, Clavinet-fuelled strut of sweaty, funk-fuelled opener "The Get Down", which is the nearest thing to an instant party-starter we've heard this week. That said, there's plenty more to set the pulse racing elsewhere across the EP, from the pitched-up, soulful disco-house sweetness of "Do For Love", to the tidily beefed-up Brazilian disco-funk re-edit "Copacabana", via the rolling grooves, jazzy guitars and swirling vocal samples of "Do You Believe".

With previous releases on Suol, Henry Street Music and StoryAboutYou this talented pair arrive with four outstanding house-disco cuts perfect to enjoy the rest of the summer. 'I'm Sorry' hits the release as a deep-disco house gem with melancholic chords, lounge strings and sexy vocals. Right next to it 'Unity' brings a completely different taste with his afro-cuban grooves and latin pianos making it an exotic blend filled with fresh congas for the rhythm section. On the other side 'Turn Around' shows up with cheerful trumpet riffs, ice melting synths and samples a classic disco anthem ready to be played on the dancefloor. At last but not least 'Free' closes this amazing release with Hawaiian-ish guitar riffs, sexy disco vocals and a peaceful outstanding piano solo by master Biroll making it perfect to enjoy the sunsets.
