The Doormouse finally emerges from the shadows of his bass-lined burrow with a sound all his own. “Late to the Groove” is his heartfelt, funky apology to the Wonderland crew—because, of course, he’s sorry he’s late. The little plump wanderer didn’t make it onto the main album with the others, lost somewhere between the desert winds and the thump of his own rhythm. But what he brings now is pure soul: desert-funk riffs, dust-sparkled bass lines, and the quiet strength of someone who shows up in his own time, carrying melodies worth waiting for.

With the Queen of Hearts’ Castle glittering on the horizon, the Doormouse steps forward at last—small, round, determined, and grooving. This is his journey, his apology, and his triumph. Better late than never. And absolutely worth the wait.

Slow Drip Fantasy

A powerful and defiant anthem about manifesting reality through the sheer force of belief and feeling. The lyrics champion the idea of living in the end result, of wearing a "wish fulfilled like skin" while the external world shows no evidence of it. It's a song of radical trust and creation, dismissing outside doubt as meaningless shadows. The central metaphor of "building bridges" from one's inner world to the outer world is a testament to patient, deliberate, and unwavering faith.
