FF002 performer @kimballcollins is known for being a true pioneer of the American electronic music, making his mark across the world but remembered for his impact on the progressive house scene of Orlando in the 90’s. He currently resides in Bangkok where he is the resident DJ at prestigious local clubs like Ku De Ta and TRUST. 

The underground legend will be taking on the Robot Heart bus at Further Future this year, and fans can prepare for a set that is both educational and danceable.

"Regarding this exclusive mix for FF, there are several things I wanted to consider when putting the track-listing together. Firstly, I wanted the mix to be unique in the sense that it's not your popular big club tunes back to back but rather a more interesting blend of older and new forms of expression from some of my favourite producers. 

I also wanted to highlight some of the artists that are on the line-up for FF so I have included remixes from DJ Tennis & Pattern Drama and a new single from Fort Romeau. As with most of my mixes I like to find an 'opener' or intro to cleanse the palate for the listener and set the tone for the overall journey. I try to create a sense of beginning, a middle and closing in my mixes like every journey with its peaks and valleys, its beginning and eventual end. 

I chose a very special and pioneering progressive tune for the end of this particular trip to show that we shouldn't be afraid to look back while ever evolving and moving Further forward into the Future. Known for his impact both in the current underground dance landscape and the 80’s electro scene, @GregWilson is a timeless producer that will bring his legendary sphere of influence to Further Future this year. 

The revered musician began his DJ career over 40 years ago and has continued to eat, sleep, and breathe dance music, eventually helping pioneer a post-disco sound out of New York that he dubbed “Electro-Funk.” 

Beyond performing, Wilson has also found a second love in writing about club culture and new music on his site Being A DJ. You can get a taste of the Greg Wilson sound with an exclusive recording of his set at the The Attik in Warrington last July, which is now being released for the first time.

FF002 performer @stefanostev was born and raised in a breathtaking city by the name of Ancona, which sits peacefully between the hills and the sea along the Italian Coast. With this in mind, it’s no surprise that the gifted multi-instrumentalist and producer has developed a visceral sound that is perfect for daydreaming. 

He made his initial mark on the world of downtempo with his Elsewhere EP on Emancipator's Loci Records imprint and has continued to draw listeners in with ethereal and hauntingly intimate pieces of music over the years.

In January my ears decided to start acting up and has altered the course of my musical passion. I cancelled all my gigs from February to April to let my ears rest for FF. I planned to make this my last set for a while. And what a perfect booth for that set. The year before I got to close out FF with a 9 hour set with Anton helping me hold down the fort till we made it rain.  I think we may have opened up the faucet and forgot to turn it off. 

The Bot and it’s booth have given me SO many magical musical moments. Welcoming sessions at the Gate. Burn Night sets with Swamy warms my heart when i think of the emotional journeys we created together. A sunrise set that turned into a 5 hr one on one tag team set with Lee. A spontaneous 11 hr sets with Benjamin that ended with 2 CDjs being added and Lee and Greg joining. The next year we brought rain and lightning as we woke up the playa family style, that morning a forklift with a bleacher full of peeps joined the party madness… twas epic. Last year a solo night time musical journey that brought up the sun and kicked well into the morning. And many more moments that blend with time and dust, sweat, blood (my clumsy self) and sunburn with my playa family!! beep beep! <3 <3 tear tear.. 

What to play? I wanted to make this set special and play a few gems from my past while lacing it with some current favorites.  I went thru my music and collected 100 tracks and one NSFW Prince tribute. The tribute was the only track I knew I was going to play, the rest of the set unfolded on its own. I invited my good friend Dave Kim to play some electric violin, which he crushed.. Thank you Dave. My emotions ran high for this short but loaded set…  Hope you enjoy… much love Dill!
