Citty is live modular techno project founded by Martin Vodicka. The project created to explore the sound possibilities of our times, to create impressions of non-existent worlds by using unheard atmospheres and modulation of noise. The variety of sounds Citty composes goes from dark ambient atmospheres and drones to hypnotic techno including not straight rhythms and patterns combined with distortions. Citty started in 2014 although Martin is in the music industry for more than 15 years. Latest Releases:

Artscope Radio #46 : Shelley [Bielefeld / Germany]

Shelley, self-taught DJ from Bielefeld, Germany, has been making a name for herself and establishing her soundscapes since 2019 when she decided that the years spent within the club culture could be translated into something fun.

Her sessions moved by hypnotic and impulsive rhythms sounds, combined with dark and dissociative atmospheres.
Through this combination, she achieves to impact mind & soul in an unique way, channeling her love for the deeper electronics.

It didn't took long until her style got recognized and she made appearances on institutions like Diffuse Reality, Indefinite Pitch, Deepinic, Fur:ther Sessions or Crescent London. 
Also Eric Cloutier invited her to play at Tresor in Berlin where she could prove her skills in front of a decent crowd.

Raroh, is a born and living in Warsaw producer and live-performer focused on the hypnotic, misty and intense techno side. His main musical goal is to tell an engaging story in which the listener can completely immerse and get lost. Under the influence of local events with electronic music, he began, at a young age, to discover new electronic sounds, rhythms and sounds, which resulted in his productions. In his music, Raroh talks about things that happened, in different places and at different times, creating new constellations and combining them into one, coherent story.

Raroh to urodzony i żyjący w Warszawie producent i live-performer skupiony na hipnotycznej, mglistej i intensywnej stronie techno. Nina (DJ alias иιиιт'α), who is self-taught, came of age in the male-dominated early 90's rave scene, has been heavily influenced by the deeper sounds of techno, poly-rhythmic electronic music and most things unconventional. Nina, who views the art of mixing as a spiritual practice that seeks to "balance relationship to mind and body, "prefers private parties to clubs/bars where the dancing is louder than the conversation. She seeks to "reinvent the club scene to promote listening and dancing through connection and somatic awareness rather than an unconscious escape."  Her sets lean in the direction of hypnotic, layered with long transitions, telling the story of the moment, often with a dark and moody undertone that reveals splashes of light and space to feel. A life-long dancer, Nina views music as a portal into a web that connects her to everything.

Podcast #123 is the perfect energiser coming at you from Manchester, England born producer, composer, sound designer and DJ, Paleman. 

Paleman swiftly kick-started his artistic journey at the age of 18 after studying Jazz; those earlier days including a noteworthy collaboration with Mercury Prize jazz nominees, Polar Bear, before going onto launch his own white label series in 2016, PLMN.

His musical endeavours have since included curating his own show on Rinse FM, debuting his textural electronic percussion based live show at Manchester International Festival, numerous releases on a variety of labels including his own PLMN Records, and taking his love for innovation and experimentation to dance floors around the world. 

A truly original ride that catapults us straight back to the dance floor in the best possible way, Paleman’s mix for On the 5th Day flawlessly showcases his mastership of dynamic, textural, percussive music commanding you to keep moving as you're guided into beautiful states of heady hypnosis.

Many of you will need no introduction to the music of Primal Code, the Italian duo who have conjured up a storm of stunning releases on labels such as Hypnus, The Gods Planet, and Konstrukt in relatively short order. We first connected over their gorgeous, then-unreleased track "Morgana," and since then it's been a pleasure watching them develop their natural and introspective sound, each release as polished and inspiring as the last. I'm so happy to welcome them to the podcast and what they've sent is pure delight, an emerald  evocation of sun-pierced woods and the clearing of the morning mist. Enjoy!
