This is the first time it has been repressed in over a decade, and we’re using the original masters — coming from 2 wizards of Midwest Mastering. The A side was mastered by Mark Richardson at Metropolis (who later founded Prairie Cat Mastering) and the b side is complete with lock grooves cut by Ron Murphy.

For the digital version we have remastered the songs with Neel from Enisslab, and included some bonuses.

As with the previous 2 releases in the 3-part Grumptronix series, the A-side features the duo’s most sought after tracks from their back catalogue. This concluding chapter features the futuristic-funk and vocoder-laden ‘Dirty Sheets’, an enigmatic electro classic that has been become almost impossible to find for collectors. This is followed by the travelling and morphing sounds of ‘Lovefix’ – a track that is long regarded as one of the greatest electro tracks of the era. As with the rest of the series, the two reissue tracks are featured alongside 2 previously unheard, unreleased productions that were created during the same time period, at the same studio in Tampa, Florida. The first previously unreleased track is ‘Nightmoves’, a potential future classic. An immediate call to the dancefloor that provides the discerning DJ with something to break through even the most monotonous of sets. The final track of the series is ‘Cosmic Glide’, a bouncy rhythm with purple, funk-fuelled keys that are equal parts future and past. Nightmoves #3 is last in the series, but by absolutely no means least. WORMO2’s transmission is complete, over and out.

Sunshine poured through the window, reflecting off the mirror that stood beside her bed. She squinted at her reflection, her face stained with tears, eyes bleary and red. She knew it was the right decision but she couldn't bear to let him go. Her life would change forever, her future somewhat unimaginable. But things would get better, of that she was sure. She'd been here before, and what she'd learnt is nothing in life is ever perfect.

In aid of NHS Charities Together and Médecins Sans Frontières, Bass Agenda Recordings have put together a compilation with a whopping 128 tracks from some of the pioneering forces in electro and techno, as well as a wealth of exciting newcomers. After 100 releases on the label, Bass Agenda boss Andy had planned to take a break but as the pandemic worsened he felt impelled to do something tangible to help. With artists like Carl Finlow, Dez Williams and Radioactive Man involved, the compilation titled Carebots will be available in full on 15th May with four tracks up for grabs straight away.

Although this is his debut DJ Ion is no stranger to the scene, being active in the community of art and electronic music in Berlin in recent years and probably best known for the party series KRACH together with his friend ADLAS of Answer Code Request, this very promising talent is bringing the heat with this fresh stepping four tracker. Being emotionally inspired by 90s Techno originating in Detroit and the UK and combing these influences with undeniable captivating musical currents like Drum n Bass, IDM, Dub and Breaks is DJ Ion's trade. He is creating a unique melange of sounds that feels right at home on modern dance floors while carrying enough creative weight and relevance to keep you entertained in your living room equally.
