Fake Rock Anthems — дебютный полноформатный альбом петербургского продюсера kolya. 

В своей музыке артист работает с эстетикой рока, — музыку, которую он прожил в качестве исполнителя и сильно любит. Продюсер использует хит-мотивы и доводит их до максимума: это концентрированная музыка, в которой, однако, нет вокала или ударных — слушатель ощущает это отсутствие и заполняет собой. 

Определённая формула написания рок-хита уже разработана, и продюсер лишь перерабатывает её. Выбор формата LP связан с тем, что это практика, свойственная популярным группам.

Главный персонаж здесь — это архетип крутого парня из американских фильмов, за спиной которого происходит взрыв или кинематографично рушится мир, а он поджигает сигарету, садится в кабриолет и уезжает под саундтрек. Каждая композиция из альбома — утрирование этого образа.

Fake Rock Anthems is the debut full-length album by producer from St. Petersburg — kolya. 

In his productions, the artist works with rock aesthetics - music he has lived through as a performer and loves a lot. Kolya uses hit motifs and takes them to the max: it's concentrated music, which, however, has no vocals or drums - the listener feels this absence and fills himself in. 

A certain formula for writing a rock hit has already been developed, and the producer only recycles it. The choice of the LP format is due to the fact that it is a practice common to popular bands.

The main character here is the archetype of the tough guy from American movies, behind whom the world explodes or collapses cinematically, and he lights up a cigarette, sits in a convertible and drives off to the soundtrack. Every track on the album is an exaggeration of that image.

The new guest of the “ethereal mix” series is singer and producer from Moscow Veronika Steklova, who publishes music by the name MC Ulybochka.

Nika began to engage in musical creativity while still studying at school. She released her first tracks as Nika Boginya at the age of 13-15, and only in 2019 she made her debut under her current pseudonym with the album “Ччч звучит мягко” (“Chchch zvuchit miagko”)

Over the next 4 years, her discography was replenished with the mini-album “Осенний грув” (“Osennii Gruv”, 2020) and the long-plays “Реальная магия» (“Real’naya magiia”, 2021), presented at “Nisha”, and the latest at the moment “Glamour&parkour”, which was released on the “Label” platform in late last month.

In addition, Veronica took part in the creation of the LP “Месседж” («Messedzh”, 2023) by Dima Komarov (Polska Octavia) and “Прозрачность соленых ресниц” («Prozrachnost solyonih resnitz”, 2022) by Kolya Dolgov (Paita). Both artists were also featured in our mixes series.
