Open minded, Brique Rouge has established itself as a key French label for the distribution of emerging and creative artists already known or totally unknown, from all over the world, who draw their inspiration from the roots of the genre, but also pursue the search for new vibes. David Duriez is known for making House and proper underground electronic music since the beginning of the 90's - 30 years in the music industry, founder and keeper of the [briquerouge] label, home of the best french electronic renegades since 1999, David Duriez is lurking in the shadow of the french Electronic scene, keeping it real and true. Artist in various styles of music, dj and innovator, he's always in search of new ways to distribute and value Electronic Music and always a step ahead. Definitely not just one for the hype.

Since 1994, David released over a hundred records under his name, tens under various pseudonyms, outputs mainly vinyl on the most renowned labels like 2020Vision, Ovum, Systematic, Pokerflat, F Communication, Mobilee, Under the Counter, Stickman, Classic Music Company, Crosstown Rebels, The End, etc .. (the list is long, see Discogs.com to be convinced) and as many remixes for some of the greatest (think Moby, DJ Hell, Telex, Random Factor, Johnny Fiasco, Paul Johnson, Kenny Hawkes or Mr.C).

Founder of the label Brique Rouge in 1999 and a whole galaxy of other labels, he participated in the creation of internationally recognized labels such as Robsoul, Freak n'Chic or Rz Muzik. David has carved out his own niche with his pigeonhole defying Brique Rouge label, and his helping to redefine underground electronic music. Brique Rouge has released deep house, jacking house, tech-house, acid house, vocal anthems and much more... Definitely a label for open-minded people, not stuck in one genre of House.

Planetary Notions boss Joe Rolét debuts on Infuse to open April with his ‘Maximum Width’ EP, backed by a remix from Rich NxT.

A rising name within his home city of London, Joe Rolét is a DJ and producer whose passion for subbed out club music with a cosmic twist has seen him become one of the scenes hotly tipped talents – a sound that’s also reflected in full via his bubbling label, Planetary Notions. Releasing music from artists such as Per Hammar, Lopaski, stevn.aint.leavn and Desert Sound Colony whilst welcoming the likes of Vlad Caia and more to join as guests on the imprint’s Rinse FM show, 2020 now sees Rolét follow up releases via Beeyou, Courtesy Of Balance and his own Planetary Notions imprint as he makes a debut label appearance on Infuse with ‘Maximum Width’ EP this April, accompanied by a remix of the title cut provided from FUSE resident Rich NxT.

Lead cut ‘Maximum Width’ sees Rolét introduce his blend of slinking, reduced grooves atop of bumping low-ends whilst working an infectious vocal throughout, whilst ‘Rounding’ sees warped synths, off-kilter melodies and further tripped out vocal snippets come to the fore. On the flip, FUSE favourite Rich NxT puts his stamp on the title track in impressive fashion as he raises the tempo and introduces sizzling bass stabs and rolling hats, before rounding out proceedings with the hypnotic ‘Amber Road’ – a paired back cut that harnesses soaring sci-fi leads and wriggling percussion arrangements to great effect to shape up an impressive debut offering.

Coming in strong off the back of their debut release Pick Me Up Records deliver their next chapter in the form of a three track EP from co-founder, Agus Pazos entitled ‘Naked’. On form DownHill Music boss, Juliche Hernandez joins in for the second release on the young and promising label with a remix of ‘Converse’. 

The first release from Pick Me Up saw fellow founders Fosky & U-FO land their ‘Bipolar EP’ which also featured remixes from Frenchman Djebali and UnderYourSeat boss, Javier Carballo. The Argentinian team have a series of releases lined up which are set to receive rave reviews across the board, especially if they follow on from these two first releases, as they seem to be pushing some of the hottest dance floor material at the moment.

Next up we welcome Ky William and Tokio with their Better Days EP.
Ky William and Tokio have been making great strides in the scene and they have teamed up on this fantastic project. 

Better Days is the A side of this EP which embodies the deeper side of the minimal scene with a rolling soft baseline and stabby chords, this one can start any set off.

The Park keeps the vibe going with an absolute belter of a track that very much compliments Better Days. They have created a great chord stabbing pad flowing track that's a straight up groover for late night vibes.

Finally, we welcome Botez to the roster. Botez thrills us with an outstanding remix of the A side Better Days, filling in a heavy kick and snares but keeping some main elements of the original while adding his own special touch. This is a real two stepper.
