Here's another instalment of my series focussing on one particular artist, producer or record label and this time I've chosen one of my all time faves - The 6th Borough Project. Ever since I've discovered the underground disco and house scene I think I've rarely played a set that doesn't contain one of their tracks or remixes, such is the staying power of their productions. M-Scape is a solo-project by Makoto Nakatani, who is a Japanese DJ/producer/remixer. He started his career as DJ in Kyoto Japan, 2000. He plays the deeper edge of house, techno blending jazz, soul, disco, funk and so on. While playing DJ as residencies in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Singapore he made a lot of sound productions such as house, hip hop, broken beats influenced by raw music like jazz, soul, disco and tried to refine his creation.
