Jade delivers the long-awaited 'What You Are' to Eatbrain. 'What You Are' opens with a half-time groove which only grows in intensity, as Jade continues to add layer after layer of grime to the mix. Hoarse, tormented vocals repeat again and again, setting the tone for the entire track. The addition of a sinister, shrill hook pushes the tune over the top - a continuing melodic element taking the tune into a new dimension of terror. Jade breaks things down before raising the pressure to full levels with a dirty bassline riff, roughneck drum programming, and expert bassline acrobatics in between each phrase. This is the Eatbrain sound.

That Door once more shows off Dabs strange musicality, with an almost ambient, liquid intro that segues – in typical Eatbrain style – into a dancefloor monster with percussive basslines, playing off against, clipped pitched up drums and a weird metal snare sound and other layered sound effects and synth that accents the minimal beat perfectly, before the intro returns, taking the tune off into epic territory before returning the gutter once again.

Passion, dedication and hard work - Kosenprod is a label which is all about these things and more. Slowly building up, the producer adds layers of sounds, from the complex and involving drum work through to bass and percussion. The flip, S&A, follows a similar path, A cinematic opening leads into a build up which is emotional and awe-inspiring. Electricity bristles across the mix, as S&A is revealed as a true slice of tech-influenced drum & bass genius.
