After years of productively drifting under the radar, FN now presents "Sounds of the Unheard from Romania" vol. 4, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Future Nuggets' flagship compilation release on vinyl. For this occasion we are happy to collaborate with @Fun In The Church, a label that is facilitating this moment to happen.

Untraceable gems, melodies and breaks for the restless future; electronica oddities, oriental kraut rock, alt.-pop manifestations, psychedelic soundtracks for imaginary films. Exposing, as always, only the tip of the iceberg, productions surfacing from Bucharest’s label entourage. Introducing new artists and projects to the outernational ears (Suce Fraga, Inana, Sarra, Xenofolk,), but also featuring FN house-hold names (Plevna, Australopitecus Oltensis).

Unfamiliar and seductive sounds reverberating from the south-east realm, tracks that challenge genres and synthesize geo-cultural dispositions. Many years and musical adventures have passed since the last volume was released, thus the FN council, acknowledging the local time dilation, has decided to hyper-jump to volume nr. 4.

Future Nuggets unveils its second compilation "Sounds of the unheard from Romania". We bring to the surface another collection of intense tracks gathered from the contemporary margins of the international world, the deep south-east. 
The border area has been as fertile as ever, the cross influences around the Danube ebbed to the shores of Bucharest and merged into a body with many names.
This is a new beginning in many ways but as always in the Outernational realm, the future is never reliable. Although the vaults of the periphery are endless they are out of sync with the music industry of today, so future archeologists are in for a treat with this record and others soon to be launched by Future Nuggets .

In the upside-down music world we  encounter shadows of an industry that never fully expired yet never consistently existed. A realm where reality is made out of fictions, out of fragments, rumours, populated sometimes only by names with no bodies. Sole reminders of a future endlessly coming together.
