FUTURE10 Celebrates 28th Anniversary with Launch of New Music Label and Debut EP

FUTURE10, a pioneering dance music crew based in Jakarta, Indonesia, is celebrating its 28th anniversary with the launch of a new music label and the release of their debut EP featuring music from Anton Wirjono, Hogi & Leftlove, Baypoet, and AP.

For almost three decades, FUTURE10 has been at the forefront of the Indonesian dance music scene, constantly innovating to create unique and dynamic sounds. The launch of the new music label and EP is a testament to their commitment to the arts and their ability to innovate with the times.

The debut EP depicts the energetic and spirited underground music scene in Jakarta, with four tracks that combine percussion rhythms and psychedelic elements with genres ranging from house to indie dance and nu-disco. DJs and dance music enthusiasts will appreciate the diverse and innovative sounds in this EP.

The Reverse was born in the midst of the pandemic. After years of absent in producing music, with the spare time at home Jakarta’s pioneering DJ & co-founder of FUTURE10 - Anton Wirjono went deep in the rabbit hole producing. One of the tracks that came from the time was this track The Reverse. 
Originally FUTURE10 released the OG version on FUTURE10 EP VOL.1 as part of FUTURE10’s inaugural release on the new label.

Fast forward to 2025 we decided to refresh The Reverse for a proper single release with reworks by Cyda (with recent releases on Jennifer Cardini’s Dischi Autunno / Ritmo Fatale and Exploited) and C.A.K.R.A.W.A.L.A. (Hogi’s new artist project with the debut release on Perky Club’s label).

The original is a dreamy and psychedelic chugging deep house tune with Cyda’s acidic and 90s prog house influences and C.A.K.R.A.W.A.L.A. morphed the original vibe into an epic peak time stormer.
