The third podcast for cmdrpx is from our very beloved Digregorius !!!
Digregorius is a passionate researcher of music, spirituality and arts. He is a musician, percussionist, electronic music producer, collector and selector. Born in 1976 into a family of musicians of several generations. He was a member of the experimental band “The Fumanchu Entertainment Corporation”, the drummer of “La Hermana Menor” and has also participated as a session musician in festivals in Uruguay and abroad. He has taken part in recordings and performances as a guest musician for several bands of the scene. He has also been the artistic producer, percussionist and vocal leader of the experimental music band “IMAO” for the last 15 years. His work as an electronic music producer has been edited by the labels My Own Jupiter (Berlin) and Lutzifer Records (Spain). His music has also been released by CMDRPX Recordings (Italy), Amorfo Records (Berlin) and El Milagro Records (Uruguay). He produced live music for the world premiere of the movie “Vida a Bordo” in the IDFA Film Festival (Amsterdam). He has also contributed with music and sound effects for exhibitions, theater, music clips and short films. As a selector, his DJ sets are a transmission of soundscapes, ideas, concepts and experiences with no genre, no labels and with great spice  which are impossible to experience without being touched somewhere deep inside. Each set is a specific and unique selection to create different internal and external scenarios.  He is an eternal seeker of new scapes that connect the mundane with the transcendent, the old and primitive with the present and the fiction of the future. His sound exploration is a reflection of this bold character, anti-systemic and with no musical preconception.

In the early 90s in the Campania capital (Italy) a new generation was going to form that would inflame the Neapolitan nights, which would bring the city to align itself perfectly with the avant-garde of global electronic music.  

Nobody wanted to stay home and watch TV, everyone wanted to dance to house, garage, progressive, trance and techno rhythms.  Today a small slice of the new generation still follows this flow and it is from there that Massi and Mario aka Discoslutz come out, Neapolitans but citizens of the world, they have no borders and all this can be heard in their sets and productions.

They are an integral part of the Vesuvius Soul Records project as resident of the parties and as producers, in fact they will soon release their first EP for the VSR label. We're really proud of having them four our 15th podcast 💛

Eva Velázquez nacida en San Carlos, Maldonado, Uruguay. 
Comenzó su interacción con la escena electrónica en el 2014, principalmente atraída por artistas Uruguayos como Dj Koolt, Z@p, Nicolás Lutz, Kino, entre otros.
En el 2017 ya viviendo en Montevideo y frecuentando phonotheque despertó su interés por el DJing y dos años más tarde ya comenzó a coleccionar música en formato vinilo.
Para el 2020 ya se encontraba tomando clases con Dj Koolt en @k.estudio.uy 
Sus géneros preferidos son el Techno, EBM, New beat y Electro.

Comenzamos este 2023 con muchas ganas de compartir, en esta oportunidad de un amigo del colectivo. Manuel De León nacido en Montevideo, Uruguay. 
Desde niño conectado con la música mediante la percusión. Descubre la música como forma de expresión siendo el batero de algunas bandas pop-rock. 
Conecta con la música electrónica y al poco tiempo comienza el experimento de mezclar y coleccionar en formato digital, haciendo sus primeras presentaciones en eventos y bares en ese formato. abriendo en si un plano que no se le presento anteriormente.  
En 2017, comienza la investigación del formato vinilo, yendo a clases con Fabricio antes de su partida para Barcelona y coleccionando sus primeros títulos 
Hoy día, habiéndose presentado en muchas fiestas y ciclos de la ciudad, Manuel emerge en la movida under nacional dispuesto a compartir sus conocimientos y música que se fue encontrando en el correr de su trayectoria, dispuesto de si y abierto a nuevas experiencias, nos regala un set a puro vinilos con un toque muy particular por su selección detallada, esperemos que sea de su agrado les saluda el grupo de AroAro.uy

Nacho CL es DJ y productor de la nueva escuela. En el año 2014 comienza su interés por coleccionar discos y así también comienza a mezclar música. Sus sets recorren géneros como, Techno, Breaks, Electro y Acid, buscando así generar distintos momentos a lo largo de los mismos.

Hoy en día lleva adelante su proyecto @Montevideovinylsecondhand un emprendimiento dedicado a la importación de música electrónica; trabajando así con distintas distribuidoras de Sudamérica y Europa.
