Juan Bentkovsky - Whirpool [3rd Avenue]

Julian Millan spreads some rythmic fire with three new exceptional cuts and marks his debut on the label!

An artist for some twenty years already, Julien Millan's story is one of perseverance and dedication. He has a long and storied DJ career, playing all over the world with some of the scenes biggest players, but it's his productions that have elevated his standing counting everyone from Hot Since 82 to Guy J as high profile fans in recent years. Signed to a diverse selection of imprints including Stereo, 8bit, and If You Wait, his groovy deepness is finally finding the world stage is deserves.

Opening with 'Cutting Grapes' we are introduced to the bass-driven vibes of Columbia's sun-lit uplands. Deep and hypnotic, the track develops familiarity through warm tones and clever ebbs and flows. 'Mooz Rider' continues the trend with deep rubbery bass and sparse percussion. Building intensity throughout the main break is drumtastic. Finally, 'Tinkerchime' rounds out the pack with the perfect deep house crossover. Powerful bass and musical keys become such a warm, comforting audio hug, you'll have this track on repeat for hours.

Akiva, hailing from LA, USA, has previously released on respected labels like ICONYC Noir, 3rd Avenue, Balkan Connection, and Sound Avenue. Reborn Within, the new alias of Trionfo, has been steadily building a name in the scene, marking his debut with a remix for Stephen K Cal earlier this fall. This release features remixes by Matias Delongora, Zaleski, and Vihanga, each adding their distinct touch, further enhancing the deep and atmospheric qualities of the original production.
