Cross-cultural sounds and influences are the calling cards of the Erdi Irmak portfolio. Thoroughly immersed in the sounds of his Turkish homeland from an early age, a combination of "chilled out west and far east sounds" became the fundamental tenets of a musical ideology that has brought success across a wide spectrum of labels and genres. Proficient in deep, organic and downtempo, a further foray into electronica has seen the development of a prolific talent.

Under different aliases, the Noble Spirits duo have been in the music industry for over 20 years. This has let Christian Orlo and Alexis Dialtone travel around different parts of the globe from US and Canada to Spain or Mexico. Noble Spirits, as we know it now, was created 4 years ago and, since then, has been releasing music on labels like WAYU, Shango, Art Vibes, Cafe de Anatolia, Tibetania and in their own imprints — Dialtone Records and Dialtone Tales. Their releases have been featured on the front page, top 100 releases and charts of Beatport’s Organic House/Downtempo, Electronica, and Melodic House with support by Hernan Cattaneo, Steve Lawler, Danny Tenaglia, Behrouz, Niki Sadeki, Anatolian Sessions, Dandara and Mula (FR).

Following on from the success of about:river’s ‘24 Years Apart’, Madloch’s Sound Avenue welcomes Greg Nairo & Modulo to the label for their debut EP. Based in Belgium, both Greg and Modulo are well established in their respective solo careers. Upon beginning their collaborative projects however, the duo began a rapid ascent within the world of organic house. A joint discography cites releases via All Day I Dream in Waves, Amulanga, Dawn till Dusk, and Nie Wieder Schlafen; a quartet of highly respected imprints where the majority of the duo’s work has landed across the last two calendar years. While their creations have been firmly rooted in the organic movement, Greg and Modulo have never let themselves be boxed in, oftentimes reaching further than the general genre confines we have become so accustomed to, in turn making their studio work much more coveted by both fans and tastemakers alike. Now, continuing on this upwards trajectory, Greg and Modulo make their much anticipated Sound Avenue debut with ‘Drosera’.

The Letters Of EP, from Estonian father-son duo about : river, features three original cuts from the pair, each unique but tied together by about : river’s ability to compose surging synth melodies and club-ready progressive beats.

Opening the project up is L, the first of the letters referred to in the title. L provides over seven minutes of beautiful chord movement and driving bassline, setting the tone immediately. The feeling is nostalgic, melancholy, and straight from the heart.

O, as the second track is titled, slows things down to a stroll, before introducing stunning strings and a meandering synth line that seems to playfully float in and out of the listener’s consciousness. 

On the final cut, V, the duo serve up a slice of bouncy dance music complete with a rubbery bassline and keyboard stabs that is part-disco, part-house. The upbeat song is crying out for the dancefloor, and will bring some heat to clubs around the world over the colder months.

We have enlisted B.A.X. and VieL on remix duties, and they both offer their takes on the opening track L. First up is B.A.X., who spends the first two minutes of their interpretation building to an irresistible crescendo before dropping in to the beat. 

The remainder of the track revels in about : river’s gorgeous instrumentation and melody writing, delivering a memorable cut of progressive beauty.

@viel, meanwhile, offers up a take that is more heavy on percussion, but retains many of the original’s best melodic qualities to create something quite unique.

Mitch Oliver debuts on Sirin Music with “Nothing Was Left“ EP. The rising producer and sound engineer has established a reputation for his personalized blend of deep emotive grooves. You can find Kindisch, Hoomidas Records, When We Dip XYZ and other labels as part of the artist’s back catalogue.

“I wrote this EP in the Spring of 2022 with the goal in mind to write music that would better fit into my DJ sets”, Mitch says. “I’ve been very inspired lately by the raw yet mesmerizing grooves found in minimal and deep tech and wanted to explore that sound a little more while still incorporating my go-to melodic touch.

The track “Can’t Help Myself” started with that simple yet very effective groove, primarily focusing on the drums and the bass and sub-bass. I then met Andrea de Tour, who has such an amazing voice and understanding of underground music. She is a great DJ and has great taste and deep knowledge of electronic music, which really helped the creative process to come up with a song that would have the sensuality of a classic house with a deeper and more profound groove. I’m extremely grateful we met and super excited about the result of our collaboration.

“Nothing Was Left” came to life when I started to jam with this mid-bass synth and came up with a very hypnotic yet catchy rhythmic melody. Some tracks come to life faster than others and this one took only a few sessions as I quickly felt the right emotions and didn’t overthink the process and simply let it all out. It has a dark and uplifting energy at the same time and has been doing very well in my DJ sets over the past few months. The voice sample gave me the extra spark I was looking for to wrap the idea, and It solidified the colour I was aiming at while composing the song”.
