Futureban is the clash between a techno DJ and a hard-as-nails rock band: drum & bass with dangerous guitar riffs, powerful bass lines and pounding beats guided by strong female vocals. The fusion of musical styles provides a unique sound that causes inevitable dance moves. This five-piece formation is established in 2013 by DJ Don Ruijgrok and drummer Bas van Goolen. United by their mutual love for music, they have decided to join forces and take a shot at making their shared dream come true: to conquer the world with a LIVE drum & bass band. Three experienced rock musicians who share the same passion were added to the group. Coming from different musical backgrounds, like punk rock, metal and techno, the band can get carried away and end up blasting some dubstep or metalriffs. Inspirations are The Qemists, The Prodigy, Pendulum, Metallica, Nu:Tone, Jungle Funk, Iron Maiden, Beyoncé and Lauryn Hill.
