Detroit enigma Sharif Laffrey makes a return to Paramida's Berlin based "Love On The Rocks" imprint with "Pony EP".

The two track EP marks his second release with the label (following "Key Jam (A.C.I.D.)) and his third release in three years - something of a roll for Sharif Laffrey who typically allows years to pass between each outing.

Here we present Leif Müller's "Nightcleaner" - a beatless 7 minutes that peaks and troughs through eerie pads and toothy, acidic sounds. Leif has already churned out a quality release for Mule Musiq and this is no different. Expect to hear tracks from the EP on plenty of dancefloors across Europe.

Futureboogie continue to shine a spotlight on Bristol’s ever-burgeoning music scene, with an EP from Natural Sugars, backed with a firing remix from accomplished Lithuanian DJ, Manfredas!

Having previously cropped up on Glasgow’s Invisible, Inc. label, Tim Oxley Smith’s Natural Sugars project serves up some top-drawer sunshine vibes on the ‘Zombie Jungle’ EP.  The title track pulls down the sun visor for an exotic and alluring mix of tropical beats and proto-house elements, whilst a dubbed out mood is cast over the chugging Balearica of ‘The Soothsayer’.

Manfredas has cut his teeth on the DJ circuit to become a most in demand selector on the leftfield circuit, and makes a rare foray into remix territory with a spicy version of ‘Zombie Jungle’.  Thick bass synth over charging Italo beats, a touch of cowbells and a ‘hands in the air’ inducing breakdown, what’s not to love!  ‘Sarsen Trail’ rounds things off with hovering keys, subtle acid and chorused guitar licks over a chugging rhythm.

In homage to the infamous post rave meet up that exists on the fringes Tisno’s famed festival site Forriner have produced an emotive summer house anthem for the ages. ‘Meet Me At Burgerellas’ is built on tear jerking strings, clever piano hooks and a chest thumping bass riff that all hangs together over super tight, punchy drums. Label stewards Clandestino pick up the house baton and run wild with it, initially going for a deeper vibe until letting rip with firing 909 drums and heady arps. Their slower ‘Sunrise’ take is a more contemplative affair, dropping the beats completely letting the strings breathe and soar while adding subtle fluttering keys and dawn break pianos. ‘The Cat & Dog Stairs’ is aching for open air dance-floors with its genial, atmospheric synths and melodic feel. A polished house track dripping with style. Longhair stick to the summery brief by turning out a shimmering mid-tempo house rework; it’s lush keys sparkling over an infectious bassline conjuring up images of the sun glinting off the sea.

After the original version of "Trau Dich" (featuring Leo and Camila) saw the light of day as a part of the Grips Theater Berlin: 50 Jahre compilation, Cashminus Music now presents you a few alternative takes to lighten up dance floors near you.

Kicking things off is Hong Kong based Frenchman Romain FX. His new beat inspired rendition gets re-dubbed by Ca$hminus for maximum Belgian power. Romain’s adventurous Neo Beat Brew (featuring the original vocals) is also included.

Subsequently, Frenchman based in Sydney Caravan  - you’ve guessed it, on aime bien les Francais! - steps up with his electro boogie take. Mixed completely analog before recording straight onto tape, his jam sounds like something that would have been aired on Detroit’s “The New Dance” tv show in the early nineties.

In addition, both Ca$hminus’ original instrumental (coined “Mesmerizing Mix”) plus the “Spanish Mix” (featuring only Camila on vox) conclude the package.

Taipei Taiwan's brand new label 禁 (JIN) makes a strong impression with compilation like debut. Kick starting with Initials B.B. On A1 - A Trancy house classic layered with floating melody reminiscent of traveling through the wilderness with breeze, while Tokyo's one n only Gonno's A2 remix puts 909 into full force. Stomping kick drum makes this cut a lethal weapon for late night utopia on any dance floors.  

B1 takes a drastic turn to the other spectrum of Taipei underground.  Up & coming local talent Lujiachi sucks you to the dim light of Taipei darkness, night-crawling the way with Industrial drum pattern, spooky East Asian horn and swaggy bassline that's as unpredictable and addictive as there is. B2 & B3 sees Stockholms wizard Samo DJ remixes - showcasing his trademark weirdo slow motion electro / dubby stamps strictly made out of MPC.

With the first release of OPW001, we are proud to uncover the memoir of Hong Kong based French producer -  Romain Fx. An outstanding musician that quite a few years ago planted a seed that through the years of event experiments and music excavations flourished into the “Kimokeye EP” influenced by the grooves of African melodies, raw vocal snippets with a final touch of uplifting variety of FM synths. With a spicy addition of a darker progressive side to the title track, remixed by Jack Priest.
