Love and music… love with music… love for music… for Danjo & Verena both, music and love,  are essential criteria for their happiness. This is not only shown by their engaging charisma, but also through their stirring music which has lots of passion, feeling and harmony in a relaxed, smooth mix of downtempo, slow, organic and deep house.
After almost 20 years of relationship, marriage and parenthood, their musical journey together is still very young, but all the more intense in seductive intimacy and hypnotic embrace. NIMA has been active as a techno DJ for almost two years. Her enjoyment of electronic music and her desire to learn to DJ has accompanied her since her youth. During her studies in Jena she started to pursue her interest in DJing and played several small gigs before moving to Leipzig a year ago. Since then, her musical taste has evolved more towards the roots of techno. Her style covers everything from pure techno to metallic sounds and soul vocals. In the future she will spend more time focusing on her music, especially her journey as a producer.

DJ Nuggetz is one of the great newcoming artist to the electronic music scene. 
As a daughter of late emigrants and parents that were always away from home when she was younger, MTV and her big brother pretty much raised her. For this reason she discovered her passion for Rap and RnB which still runs deep today. 
While practicing the piano during the day, she adored Aaliyah at night. 
Her twenties were a difficult time for her, due to a couple of different health reasons, that she is now leaving behind. Now, she finally has the capacities to do what she loves the most: making music.

@gorge, aka Pit Waldmann’s musical journey is the story of a lifetime. From his teenage years as a pop drummer, to his vibrant DJ career, to his role as one of the most revered producers in the electronic scene, Gorge has always been hooked on the beat. „I grew up surrounded with a mix of trance, techno, house and hip-hop,“ he says. „It gave me a very open mind.“

His attitude and openness has fuelled a thriving career as DJ, producer, and co-owner, with Nick Curly, of 8bit Records. Gorge sees no reason to compartmentalise his music, or himself. As a young DJ in Mannheim, he combined working five days a week as a paramedic with playing in the city’s thriving club scene. „In the ’90s clubs were open every day of the week,“ he recalls with a laugh. „I was going to study medicine but the music infected me.“

Eventually Gorge gave up work as a paramedic to focus on music. He began releasing records in the early ’00s, experimenting with deep sounds. In 2005 he and musical comrade Nick Curly founded 8bit Records, which became one of the standout labels of forward thinking electronica. It pioneered minimal in its early years, before evolving into a deeper, groovier sound. „That’s when the real hype began,“ Gorge says.

Once it started, the hype never stopped. Gorge pushes his sound and builds his reputation with every release, every gig. „I’m not a DJ who plays the obvious tracks with the big breakdowns,“ he notes. „I show people you can have a good time with hypnotic, groovy stuff. Every night is different, but I always want to create an atmosphere in the club.“

Behind the decks, Marcel and Linus quickly found an inner connection with one another. Early on, during their first spontaneous b2b-sessions back in 2018, they developed a distinctive flow that quickly had them win over the hearts of the dance floors. In 2021 they came together in the studio to create their own sound: raw, fast-paced and unpolished, but always built on a solid foundation of house music. On the mixer, they easily go from fat acid basslines over to disco-infused 130 BPM bangers or – if it fits the mood– some sweet and dreamy pads, preferably late into the night. Because besides music they share another love: the one for long sets and even longer mornings.

House DJ and producer Max Caesar has been applying himself fully to the pursuit of classic house sounds, be it 909 drums, slightly detuned string samples or dusty old pianos. The search for a classic but still modern approach to house is the focus of his journey, already represented on well respected labels like theBasementDiscos and Blur Records and his second EP on it's way. Starting his musical career in Erfurt, he now resides in Leipzig and is a core member of our Future Fabrik.

By the way: Max teamed up with one of our earlier guest @j_nuggetz and one of our friends @sam_paradise for their event "Loading" which will take of tomorrow at the 360° Waschbar in Leipzig! Don't miss out!

We are very happy to deliver you our 10th Podcast already, ready to get you into the new year with @bertolt-meyer! 

In this set, Bertolt Meyer combines his current releases with some yet unreleased material that he recorded on his modular setup. The set takes off with some softer tunes that also feature vocals, most notably Hannes Bieger's Remix of „Walks the Night“ and Meyer’s remix of „Rennen“ by the Leipzig-based synthpop band Polytron. The set subsequently explores some darker territories in the 126-ish melodic techno range.

Whether it's their long-lasting and deep friendship or their performance as artists- it has been a long journey together for this amazing DJ duo. Starting their artist career together in 2017, it didn't take long for them to settle in the electronic music scene. Inspired by their surrounding of several local artists as well as the parties of the Mannheimer music scene, which range from breakbeat parties over house and minimal to psychedelic- oriental raves, they developed their own and unique music style. Besides spinning the records on a digital format, they also are experts at Vinyl. 
With the support of their residency, the Peer23 in Mannheim, they hosted several events in Mannheim and beyond . Gaining a lot of expertise in the areas of event hosting and as DJs, their music style evolved even further, connecting them with new artists and upcoming releases this year.
