‘In my mind u are all’ certainly keeps within Loudek’s style, with a dark and ominous introduction that sets the tone this monster of a track. Fast paced action is at the heart of  ‘In my mind u are all’ with a rapid success of complex drum patterns filling this track with  energy. That’s not to forget the colossal bass that warps throughout.

‘Come Down’ begins with a softer and dreamier introduction that’s swells around the listener, however this soon departs as we’re hit with Loudek’s trademark sound of powerful drums and rolling murky bass. The perfectly produced synths are timed to perfection in their placement, bringing together the track to form a concoction of Drum and Bass heaven

Future Formation are back with another highly anticipated release, this time from E.R.F. Future Formation have been gaining a lot of recognition for their recent releases, and are continuing to bring nothing but the highest quality of Drum and Bass releases.

Kicking things of with ‘Space Raiders’ were smacked in the face with a heavy hitting bass that is unapologetic to say the least. Combined with perfectly produced vocal shouts and clips ‘Space Raiders’ has elements of the title suggesting sci-fi theme, with technological elements littered throughout. We’re never far from a monstrous drop in this track, with two bass parts working in harmony to produce chaos.

As we move onto the second track – ‘Bad’ we have an introduction that builds up to another face melting drop. There is the trademark use of vocals that add a further element of rave culture to the track. Be ready to bop with this one, it’s catchy in a way that makes you want to be in a dark room at 6am. The drum pattern perfectly complements the bouncing bass to create a tune that is truly ‘Bad’. The bridge of the track is a short break that brings a sense of rest, but leaves you yearning for more from E.R.F

‘Thermal’, in collaboration with Fabric8, includes piercing reese basses intertwined with vocals reminiscent of an 80’s rave. The teasing intro filled with euphoric pads then drops into a build-up to make anyone crank up the speaker, and not to forget the brutal switch up included in the ever changing, dynamic drop.

Future Formation are back with another highly anticipated release. Sigil (previously Slavedrivers) are a Huddersfield based Drum and Bass duo formed of Sticky Edit & Holsta and a wealth of experience in the music industry spanning over 20 years between them. This release features vocals from Roukaya B, one of the Manchester’s hottest upcoming vocalists and who has recently featured on BBC One’s Little Mix The Search, and RivalTechnique, who has releases on Dutty Bass Audio and Onyx Records.

Kicking off this release is ‘Fantasy ft Roukaya B’ a light and uplifting track that brings liquid Drum and Bass to Future Formation. The track features an emotive piano part that is supported throughout by live recorded violin and cello from classically trained musician Lizzy Allen. The vocals in this track, written and performed by Roukaya B, add depth and purpose to the music, and with thoughtful lyrics, listeners are drawn in to the bright aura of ‘Fantasy’. 

The second track from Sigil sees them team up with RivalTechnique.  Having hosted slots for the likes of Benny Page, DJ Hazard and Turno, you know this link up will result in serious head bopping vibes. The intro gently builds up to RivalTechnique’s signature vocals before dropping in to textured layers of bass and subtly saturated drums. With an essence of jump up and some old skool jungle influences , Sigil have well and truly introduced themselves aa a force to be reckoned with.

Fantasy ft Roukaya B

Future Formation started life back in 2010 when DJ Promo met up with DJ Holsta, they decided to put
events on in Huddersfield. Holsta has been promoting events since 2000 & Promo has roots with Formation Records dating back to 1992 so bringing their experience together they quickly teamed up with DJ SS on this project ,to bring D&B to the North of England.
10 years later they eventually branched out into Leeds & ran some of the biggest D&B nights in the
North, teaming up with nights like Boombox Circus, Gravity & Lost Circus.
As well as bringing some of the biggest Artists in D&B to the events, they have always been
about promoting up & coming talent, giving people a stage to start their careers. 
So, it seems fitting that they launch their own Record Label to continue to give new artists the
opportunities to showcase their skills on a big stage.
