The long hot days of summer herald a two-track new EP by Sercan Yanbay on La Pyramide. One of the tracks in the artist's new EP, titled 'Progressive Minds' has been first heard with its mixed version in Future Forward Music's compilation album 'The Void' this spring and now is here with its extended mix. It blazes dazzlingly into the long shadows of the the long days of summer. Imposing motifs and granular forms that crystallize inside out in jagged synth edges create a mindful mystery. The other one entitled 'Reflexion' appears overhead with the heavy beat of powerful but at the same time elegant elements. Bristling and fizzing over emotive crescendo, mathematical patterns drive through perfect aural symmetry when listening to it.
