Bet you thought you’d never be abducted by a suspicious but cool-looking green little alien and taken on an intergalactic trip, bouncing through spiraling tunnels of different worlds morphed with blazing orange skies. 
Each world has a way of warping your mind to match every sound, causing you to detach from so-called reality as you get pulled and twisted into an out-of-body experience, all fuelled by pure enjoyment. 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆, 𝗻𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗲. 
The plan was to combine an ensemble of unique talent and sounds from all over the world for one BIG flavourful scoop of bold, weird goodness for your ears to feast on. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 🍭

Steering the visual ship of this sticky, melting-saucer is the amazing, and talented TSKY ARTS, welcoming her as our official label Artist. It’s no doubt that we’ve always wanted to grow our team and build an empire with like-minded people that share the same crazy weird passion for our music and its art. After all the funny release quotes we write, we’ve never actually spoken about why and how we came up with the name Box of Cats. It’s a pretty random name for a record label, besides what have cats got to do with music anyway? Well, more than you think… Ever heard of the musical 'CATS', or Love Cats by The Cure, or ’50 Something Cats’ by deadmau5?

Anyway, the true story about cats came from us wanting to have a bunch of friends together with the same vibe. A bunch of cats in a box together. A Box of Cats. Yep, it’s literally that simple. Now with well over 100 artists on our roster, it’s become a pretty big box! We ran out of room, so we bought a bigger box and called it Box of Trax! Fully-fledged, heavy hitting tunes that deserve to be highlighted in a compilation all of their own.

You might recognise some familiar faces like ZOF, Max Kaluza & Osker Wilde and Kimba making their returns. We’ve also tracked down some fresh talent for good measure in the form of GetCosy, Ian Allen & Techneekz and some super fresh new talent by the name of Ricky Bobi!

No need for a ‘fragile’ sticker when boxing these ones up, so don’t be afraid to throw them around. In fact, we encourage it!
