Within hours of walking through the stone gates of the The Monastery in Goch, Germany, I quickly knew it going to become one of my favourite gatherings of all time. The Gardens of Babylon crew sure know how to put on a proper party. What transpired on Saturday night left me absolutely speechless. After Damian Lazarus delivered an outstanding performance on main stage, the decks were moved to Kloster Cafe where Deep and I got to spontaneously go back to back surrounded by all of our nearest and dearest. Shout out to my flow fam for the support, to Deep my soul brother for choosing to ask me of all people if I had my USB on me to Shishi who made this magic happen. This is a memory I've never forget 🙏🏽✨ Enjoy xx

Serbian based Coeus is steadily growing and is striving to become one of the electronic music finest dj/producers of the Balkans. Playing the piano from the young age has led his music evolve into deep and melodic sound filled with expanded melodic structures. With his releases on Afterlife, he managed to get a lot of attention.
In a short time, he gained support by the scene finest, with his tracks regularly played by the names like Tale of Us, Adriatique, Oliver Koletzki and many more.

Starting his career mainly staying on the production at first, Coeus has fast established himself as a DJ as well. With the sets that vary from Melodic Techno to more electronic and disco sound, you can be sure that it will always keep you moving.

Fur Coat’s @oddityrecordings label starts 2021 with a fresh edition of the acclaimed various artists “Odd Echoes Vol.4”. This instalment showcases some artists that are already known to the label, as well as many new additions to the family. 

Fur Coat’s commitment to their label over the last few years has seen the imprint amass a dedicated following and an ever growing list of respected and lauded releases. Utilising their Various Artists compilations, the duo have unearthed some extremely exciting talent in this world and given emerging artists a platform to exhibit their craft. 

Diving into the package we are greeted with the melodic and emotional sounds that Oddity has their recognisable stamp. Its clear though that each artist involved has developed their own signature sound and presents something unique to the VA. The first half is formed of well crafted tracks which ease us into the sound. Tracks the build and develop over time and help to kick start out musical exploration. 

In true Oddity style the second half of the package leans towards darker and more driving pieces. Casting the listeners mind to the dancefloors which the tracks were meant to be played on. It's a VA formed of 21 original tracks mostly from first-timers on the label, that all together solidify the identity of the series and sound of Oddity.
