Grow's Elektrotropolis ep is a 4 track dystopian electro voyage featuring 4 very different sonic journeys. Elektrotropolis is a high energy almost Rotheresque banger with cold vocals that will send the dancefloor into a frenzy. Interdimensional Telepathy is a very rare format for Grow being it contains no vocals of any kind as well as no verbal samples. 100% instrumental vibey journey designed to put the body in a euphoric state of tranquility and flowing movement. Secret machines is a more traditional Grow outing featuring cerebral vocal work as well as bassy intricate drum patterns. And finally a wild journey into the realm of Biological Mycelial Network that will take you on trip through the universe guided by magical audio spores that implant themselves in your cerebral cortex and guide you on your way to enlightenment. Ok, so this is a bit of a sore subject for various reasons as James Zabiela dropped this at a gig with Goldie looking over his shoulder! At the time Goldie said it was great and asked for my details. I did then receive a call and an email which wasn't too friendly but then I guess they thought they would be missing out on some money from the remix but I had no intention whatsoever to sell the mix it was simply done for my DJ sets and a few close friend DJ's who played it too! Since I did this mix back in 2005 I have seen a good few hundred other bootlegs appear of this track so now don't feel bad finally being able to give you all a hi-res version as I know a 192mp3 leaked a few years back!
Big respect to Goldie, Rob Playford and Diane Charlemaine for making such a killer original track that still stands out!

DJ Roger (Digital Bionics) came to live in Australia in 2011 from England where he started DJing in 1994 in Glastonbury town, Bristol
and around the fields and forests of Somerset.

After being a part of the early rave scene in London, he left for the countryside of Somerset and settled in Glastonbury town in 1992.

He's mixed in a lot of tents and cafes in Glastonbury festival year after year, bars and clubs in Bristol along with lots of private parties, heavily 
influenced by what he describes as extraterrestrial Techno and other creative dance genres, that have a spacey and experimental edge, along with some melodic uplifting Trance sounds, Future House, Dubstep, Electro Tech, Breaks, Drum and Bass , Electronica, Electro House, EDM, Psy Trance, Pop ,IDM, Good Chill, Weird Trap, Odd Prog.

He left his decks and records in England for the benefit of a younger generation and decided to use a laptop and controller for mixing in Australia 

Roger could also be heard playing as a resident, in Jack’s Bar, Keen St, Lismore regularly, mixing a blend of House, Electro House, Techno, Prog, Breaks, always with a psychedelic, creative or crazy edge.

He is also a regular at Honey Pot Production's beats on tap gigs, as well and the monthly NEMESIS collective in Nimbin, bush doofs, and numerous private parties such as Fashionably Trashed and Triple Treat, 

He's also played multiple gigs for 3rd Eye Productions in Lismore NSW's Hub, which is now the Metropole Hotel in Keen street, Lismore, NSW where he’s also been playing upstairs at the rooftop bar and garden independently and now as a guest with the D’Bakery crew.

Long mixes are his passion, always busy in the headphones looking for a hook or some oddball sounds to throw in.
